Hello to all of our Lightweights!!!  If you are visiting WELCOME....PLEASE JOIN US and POST!!!!!    Besides my tool,  I count  Posting on the LW board as my #1 reason for being successful on this exciting journey!!!!

WARNING TO SELF AND TO ANYONE WHO WILL LISTEN!!!   AVOID 'BAD' CARBS AT ALL COSTS!!!  THEY ARE ADDICTING!!  THEY WILL SLOW DOWN YOUR WEIGHT LOSS DURING THE LOSING STAGE (and you won't even notice)!!  THEY WILL MAKE THE SCALE GO UP AFTER THE HONEYMOON PERIOD IS OVER.

Success in Maintenance starts with good choices during the Honeymoon Period!!!!!

Last night the TV was being bombarded with weight loss ads.  Al Roker of the Today show was doing a segment on his battle with losing weight and his Weight Loss Surgery.  I guess he has written a book and he is promoting it.  I have it recording so I can watch it this evening.

My eating is going to be crazy today.  DH had an early Dr appt that I went to with him to have some cancerous stuff removed from his ear and I have folks coming for training starting at 4 and 6.  Not sure how to do supper with all that.  I did get some healthy snacks since most folks will be hungry but I tried to get stuff (other than 1 thing of cookies) that I didn't mind having around.

decaf protein coffee  33g
w grain cheese toast
lemon tea protein  13g
cheese stick
pizza chips and asperagus
caribean cooler protein  13g
probably snacks during training, veggies, cheese
protein shake  33g

I'm horrible at planning but some day I'll get it together and have a plan.

I probably would be hard if you like variety.  I'm ok eating the same things every day but it's the days that I run out of the regulars that I have trouble with.  I have a tendency to grab what is the quickest and easiest.

Hi Roz - I'd be interested in his book and see what he has to say about his weight loss journey.  I did end up with some protein last night - pulled pork - bbq'd.  I haven't been hungry since I've been a bit sick, and I'm listening to it.  I tend to eat to eat - and if I'm not hungry, I'm not going to.

B - coffee

L - some sausage roll-ups in a crust (yum but bad) with jalapenos, cream cheese and mushrooms.  They're gone now...

D - we'll see

Vits:  yes

Water:  need more

DH gets extremely hungry when he is sick.  Throwing up doesn't even stop him from eating.  Me...I'm must the opposite but I rarely get sick.  I hate colds worse than getting sick.

I just ate a banana and when it was almost gone I thought...what are you doing?????  I just had chili and there is no way I was hungry.
