Down 2.5lbs - 1 since yesterday but was either due to my iron which has maltitol as they ran out of my normal stuff or the tablespoon of Christmas pudding I had late last night, which was gluten free, but it does have a lot of fruit.  Either way I had a rough night getting up lots of times to use the bathroom. :-(

I'll skip the Christmas pudding and persist with the iron for another night and see how that goes (I was OK with the iron on Friday, but I do know the effects are cumulative, but I'm hoping that it's such a small quantity I'll be OK).

I'm going to do Shaun T's Insanity workout now!! :-S

I survived.  I did 35 minutes with an average heart rate of 148 and I feel good - I got up to 179 at one point... tee hee.  I think I need to get a scale that measures body fat to motivate me... as Tony Robbins says 'what gets measured gets done'.  I really don't want to end up with osteoporosis when I could do a lot to prevent it and I need to somehow give myself a push!!

BTW I've changed to red bush tea which is naturally decaff so I'm scaling it down (not that I'm really a caffeine monster).

I JUST woke up...spent most of the night coughing AGAIN. I think I have broncitis and I am already using the inhaler but I still feel like my rib cage is gonna break from all the coughing I'm doing...it's SORE.

Neat on the orchid...I have a black thumb (doesn't help to have kitties that like to eat plants)

That sucks.  Sounds like you're gonna have to start on the cough syrup and cough syrup :-(  I hope you can get over this soon.  ((hugs))

I am already...using the inhaler as much as I can (up to four times a day), in between is the cough syrup and cough drops...the cough drops I am using are ones called Fisherman's Friend which are actually native to England.

I hope I get over this soon too...I don't NEED this.

I know of Fisherman's Friend but I don't think I've tried them.

Can you try sleeping in a recliner or with a lot of pillows?  Sometimes lying flat can make a cough a lot worse and you just don't get enough rest to recover.

No recliner to sleep in...got rid of them as they were NO longer usable. And NOT worth the effort of fixing...unlike my two old easy chairs...they are solid wood, just need reupholstering.

But I am using multiple pillows...got use to it during my jaw surgery. I was using 4 at that point, now it's 2 to 3 depending on how far one squishes down or gets pushed over.

I'm about to the point of sleeping in a different room/bed so dh can sleep. My hacking is keeping him awake.
