I week (almost) post op....feeling really good...did a slow walk thru WalMart...getting in all my liquids & Protein...still working on the vits tho...haven't found what works yet for me...

Working on getting in more pureed items...I Love the refried beans with a bit of Unjury Cheese sauce to loosen them up just a bit.  love the cottage cheese with almost anything...or just plain....love the natural unsweetened applesauce with a tablespoon of vanilla protein powder...mashed potatoes with 1 scoop Unjury Chicken Flavored protein powder....

I looked at my treadmill with hunger...I am getting really bored with just walking around the house....I just may get on it tomorrow and do a slow 15 minute walk and see how it goes...

Slow and steady does it on the treadmill.  Take it nice and easy to start with and stop if you're in pain as you'll only be a week out.  I guess being able to stop is the great advantage of a treadmill... not so easy if you're actually out on a walk!! ;)

Yea I was kinda thinking the same thing about being able to stop when I want to without calling someone to come pick me up and bring me back home..ha ha ha....I will be trying only a slow shuffle at first...see how it goes...

Doing this is only because I am starting to feel like a slug sitting in the recliner for most of the day...so I promise to take it slow and easy....

It's been awhile, but I DO remember loving my FF refried beans with cheese melted on it, and then a side of salsa, and even a dollop of sour cream.

Just take it easy - a treadmill is a good way to start as you can control the speed, incline, etc.  After I had surgery I went for a "walk" and went too far...

Sounds like you are on great path to SUCCESS!

I did eat Mashed Potatoes early out because they slid down but only until I was allowed regular food. It isn't something you will want to include in your every day menus.

Sundays seem to be my "bad" day diet wise. You would think without working on Sunday it would be the one day I could cook something and eat healthy but it never seems to work out that way.

B- Celebrate ENS shake

L- pizza

D- ?

S- protein shake

I get lazy around Sunday.  I cooked and planned on Saturday but when Sunday comes along I don't want to eat anything I have planned for the rest of the week.

Pizza...yum I've been hungry for that. The problem is when we have it I only want to eat the crust.
