You know what this means?  I wear my winter white cord pant to work.  lol   Who else wears white pants now that you've lost weight?  What other things do you wear now that you didn't dare before?

I have skinny white cords too.  I love them.  I feel good about wearing my breeches to ride and they are basically like heavy tights.  I wear workout clothes, tank tops that I swore I would never wear in public because of my horrible batwing arms, but I do.  I figure I am in there pumping iron and proud of it, even with floppy arms.  Dresses!! I don't have many but I do wear them, skinny short sweater dresses and I look hot in them even at 64.

Training new staff, out of town funeral, meeting.  Another busy day.

I could never wear white! I attract too much crap. I've even had strange people's kids wipe hands on my pants in a restaurant. You guys enjoy them.

Even heavy I wore light colors...not necessarily white but light khaki.

What I couldn't find easily were cords...now I have two pair, want more but that will happen eventually.

We have snow and ice in our forecast again...told dh that the snow stayed on the ground too long after the last one...it was waiting on more. We still have lots of spots left from the last one a week ago.

Went to see my PCP yesterday, my bronchitis is back so he gave me a long acting inhaler to piggy back on the short acting one. I'm tired of being sick!

Good for you Gina!!!

I haven't worn white yet but I've been thinking about getting some to wear on our cruise.  The always look so nice on other people.

I enjoy wearing jeans now. No matter where I went  I always wore good dress pants that made me feel neater.  I always felt like I had to dress nice.  It gave me a sense of pride in who I was and hope that people would over look how fat I was.

I also wore a button down shirt or sweater over a sleeveless type shirt but now I wear a lot of pullover shirts and sweaters.

I wore a bathing suit for the first time in years out in public.  I bought one with long shorts to cover all of my loose skin on my thighs but the top fit me nice and I felt good in it.

Lots of snow here.  I am too much of a slob to wear much white.  It never stays stain free for long.  I have gone to covering up in layers.  Not to hide my shape anymore, but because I am freezing all the time!  I hope I am brave enough and small enough for swimsuits without huge T shirts to cover them by this summer.  I may even try a bikini

I always wore white.  Its nice to wear cords though without hearing that swishing of the thighs when I walk. For running I wear tight dri fit shirts  with spandex  skorts  and for golf, some heavier fabric skorts from athleta . I also wear a two piece to lay out  at the pool --keep a one piece and tankini for when the grandkids come though.

Since I live in AZ, I probably wear skimpier clothing than most because its just too hot not to in the summer.  I don't know what I would wear if I was still heavy.

I'm having so much fun with clothes now!  My 12-yr-old daughter and I can wear the same clothes, so she steals my clothes and I steal hers.  Never ever thought I'd get to do that with her.  When the temps here in Jacksonville were in the upper 70s to low 80s about 2 weeks ago, I was wearing shorter shorts and tank tops.  I hadn't dared to do that since I was 18 yrs old.  I love my jeans (although they are a bit loose in the waist and hips again) and my form fitting shirts.  I'm not sure about what I'm going to do for swimwear this summer as I still have the large scar down the middle of my abdomen.  I'll just see when it gets to about that point.

I love my boots now!!  I had a hard time finding any because my legs were so big they wouldn't zip.

I have white capris that I wear all the time in spring and summer.  I would like to get a red pair of pants to wear!!  That is a color I always avoided because I was afraid it would draw attention to me.

Since I can now paint my toe nails myself, I wear sandals a lot more.

Every time I think about buying white pants I think of the saying not to wear white after Labor day.  I do think I would look okay but like others between the dogs and the grand babies they wouldn't stay white very long.

I love dressing up now, too.  Having a job to go to gives me an opportunity to buy different clothes even though ironically since I work on weekends I could go in wearing jeans if I wanted to, and I often do.  On Mondays I dress a little more dressy but it's still business casual so sometimes I wear black jeans, which are okay, and others I dress up a bit more.

I have a black sweater dress that I love but I cannot wear shorter dresses because of my legs so I almost always wear leggings with dresses.  I have a pair that are fleece lined, kind of like sweatpants on the inside but still leggings on the outside and they are really warm and toasty.  When I wear the sweater dress sometimes I pair it with a shear black dress or blouse and it really looks nice.  I also have a ton of sweaters that I put on the keep warm that I think really look good.  Most of the time I wear my Uggs even though they are ugly they really keep my feet warm and that is more important then looks, lol.

I have really gotten in to the habit of buying a lot of clothes.  The Value Village down the street has senior discounts on Wednesdays for 40% off so I usually go in and buy a few things.  Last Monday was 50% off so I went in looking for some pullover sweaters to keep warm.  I usually layer them with blouses.  I wear a lot of layers when it's cold.  I also have a few coats that I wear for warmth.  I just wish I had more room in my closet as I can't fit all my clothes in now.  I have about a dozen pairs of jeans, about the same amount of slacks and tops, several dresses and sweaters.  And the funny thing is many still have the tags on them because I get into a rut and wear pretty much the same things all the time.  And when I'm not working 99% of the time it is just jeans for me.  If I wanted to I could probably wear something different every day for weeks.  I never thought I would be a clothes horse but it's getting that way.  At least they are all cheap.  I rarely buy new or pay more then $5 for a single item.  I hope I don't sound conceited but one advantage of being thin is that most things I put on look good on me.  Before if it fit I bought it no matter what it looked like.  Before my revision I lived in sweatpants, drawstring pants and t shirts, things that were stretchy so I could wear them no matter my size.  I looked like a slob no matter how hard I tried so I just got to where I said "Why bother?"

My entire wardrobe before my revision was about 3 pairs of stretchy pants and a bunch of t shirts that went from being really baggy on me to being really tight at the end.  I honestly didn't buy any clothes from 150 lbs to 220 lbs, which is one of the reasons I stayed in denial about my weight gain.  Before I lost weight I didn't wear a pair of jeans for years.  The sad thing is now my daughter wears all my old clothes and pretty much for the same reason, so she can stay in denial about her size.
