Good Morning. Is that sleet I hear?

Yep, here we go again.  But, I can not tell you how happy I am that my one way commute is all of 2 miles.  kiss   So, I blew up my team members' text notifications at a little before 5AM to let the know it was ok to be late to the office today.

How goes your day?  What's on your plan?

I am hearing sleet as well this AM.  School is two hours delayed so I have an extra two hours of quiet time before the rest of the house wakes up.  I wish I could say I was headed for work today...but not yet.

I did want to go to our locale Wellness store just to see what they have...what is available, but I guess that will wait till the rain/sleet stops...supposed to get up to a warm 47 today...ha I will believe it when I see it.

haircut at 9, farrier at 9:30 since he didn't come Friday with the sleet here, meeting at 2, muscle pump at 5.  busy day here.  I would like to think I could drive Halley between the farrier and the meeting but I don't think there is any way.  It is already 15 degrees warmer now than it was on Friday so at least standing out with the farrier won't be quite as painful.  Back in the fall I bought some snowpants, little boy's, at Walmart for $9.99 and they were an excellent investment.  We haven't had any snow but they sure do help me stay warm.

Just found out that one of my staff, longest running one's hubby has cancer.  They leave for Duke tomorrow.  Please keep them in your prayers.

Prayers here as well.  My DH's family has been hit hard the last few years with cancer and heart attacks.  There are a lot better meds out their now than when my Dad passed away at 46.

Sleet and rain here too.  My commute is 28 miles each way, but I am here safely already.  Was a long slow ride in this morning!

Not much planned today besides work.  Schools are closed so my boys are still sleeping for sure.  Teens dont get up till noon if they are not forced out of bed.  lol

I did zumba and yoga yesterday and planning on it tomorrow so that is covered without a class today.

As is usual for the last month, I lost a ton of hair when I washed it this morning.  Luckily for me it was very thick and curly to start with or I would be bald already.

No sleet this morning for us...and it's almost 45 here already. MUCH warmer than Fri and the rest of the weekend. Dh has a followup doctor appt this morning with one of his specialists...one that we will keep when we move.

Other than that, not much on the schedule.

It is 55 degrees here (was suppose to be freezing rain) glad it missed us.  I am 12 days post op. Still just resting. Helped daughter finish science fair project. My BFF passed away last week. Funeral this Wednedsay.

Started morning off with a 1/2 premier protein (15g protein) now sipping water.  I did order some roadside lemonade. I like it the best of all the nectar.

Have a safe day....
