WARNING TO SELF AND TO ANYONE WHO WILL LISTEN!!!   AVOID 'BAD' CARBS AT ALL COSTS!!!  THEY ARE ADDICTING!!  THEY WILL SLOW DOWN YOUR WEIGHT LOSS DURING THE LOSING STAGE (and you won't even notice)!!  THEY WILL MAKE THE SCALE GO UP AFTER THE HONEYMOON PERIOD IS OVER.

Success in Maintenance starts with good choices during the Honeymoon Period!!!!!

Over the hump day.  It feels like I should also be half way to getting my work posted for the week but the state has made so many changes I was wishing last night that I could stay over and this is my first break today.  Hope you are all having a great day.  The scale did say 118 this morning which started my day out great!

2 meatballs is the norm for me.  I don't eat much at meals. It takes me forever to eat 1/2 a sandwich.

Sounds Good!

We have been having a lazy morning in the condo after a very long day yesterday with the Grand Canyon.  this afternoon we are going back to the strip for some touring (I want to see the Venetian and gondolas) and tonight to Mystere, cirque du soleil.  The strip goes on forever with each hotel/casino being the size of a small disney world.  Way too much walking for DH so we are having to plan our trips.  He had a hard time with thin air and exercise yesterday.

decaf protein coffee  40g
2 eggs, 2 bacon
lemon tea protein  13g
hamburger patty, pear
nuts
chocolate martini, grilled chicken, salad, crab biscue soup
protein hot chocolate  25g

I love having a kitchen here so I can control most of what we are eating.  It would be horrible to eat out every meal.

2 of our DD's have been to LV and they say everyone should go just once just to see the hotels.  Did you fly or drive?

I love staying places with a kitchen. It does make life a lot easier. Did you try any of the buffets?  Our DD's said they were super cheap and delicious.

Sounds Good Price!

We went to one breakfast buffet.  Actually the second time we went in and were not in the high dollar hotels, food was more reasonable.  We flew, it would take days to drive. The strip is amazing and huge.  Last night we saw the female impersonators show, Divas.  It was wonderful.  Today we went to the Valley of fire and it was beautiful.  But I am ready to head home tomorrow.  I miss my dogs, ponies and donkeys.

I've never tried fried pickles.  I love fried foods but I can't imagine liking them especially if they are dill.
