Menus and Mile Friday Feb. 8th
Hello to all of our Lightweights!!! If you are visiting WELCOME....PLEASE JOIN US and POST!!!!! Besides my tool, I count Posting on the LW board as my #1 reason for being successful on this exciting journey!!!!
WARNING TO SELF AND TO ANYONE WHO WILL LISTEN!!! AVOID 'BAD' CARBS AT ALL COSTS!!! THEY ARE ADDICTING!! THEY WILL SLOW DOWN YOUR WEIGHT LOSS DURING THE LOSING STAGE (and you won't even notice)!! THEY WILL MAKE THE SCALE GO UP AFTER THE HONEYMOON PERIOD IS OVER.
Success in Maintenance starts with good choices during the Honeymoon Period!!!!!
Friday is finally here!!! Do you live where the storms are going hit? We were suppose to have freezing rain but so far we only have a little rain and the temps are high enough it won't freeze for awhile. Taking my Mom for a pedicure tonight and I'm getting my nails done. We have competition the next 2 days in Pittsburgh. We are taking all 13 teams so it should be a FUN looong weekend.

I need a pedi... last time I did one I put my socks on too soon and messed it up - it was too cold to leave them off for any longer!! :-S I'm hoping the weather will turn soon (we had a little snow this week but it didn't settle). Anway TGIF, no plans for me other than getting some R&R.

My Mom put her shoes and socks on too but she is 80 and won't be able to see if they are messed up and it's definitely not sandals weather here so I figured it doesn't matter. I'm holding out getting one until right before we leave for vacation so I'll take her again.
Good Totals!

DH and I decided that we might skip out after our DGD competes and then return on Sunday for the day. A whole weekend can be very tiring. Unless DD gets upset with us this is the plan. This is the one competition we go to that only sells carbs and everything's really expensive. Two days of bad food would make me miserable and just add to long day.
Lookin Good!

Good luck and I hope you aren't in the storms path while traveling.
We went to the Valley of Fire today and it was so amazing. The landscape here is so different from home. We are going out tonight then to bed relatively early to fly out tomorrow. A long day of planes and airports. Plus it seems so much easier to go west than east.

We only have about an hour to travel. Pittsburgh got spared the bad weather. We didn't even get the rain and ice that was predicted.
I hope none of your flights are delayed!!!
Sounds Great!
