Hi Roz, great to have you back.  Your team sound like they did great - maybe they'll get a medal next year ;-)

I had some chocolate today but I'm hoping I didn't have so much that I'll be up all night (too much sugar can result in repeated trips to the bathroom and it always happens at night when I'd rather be sleeping - I awaken very easily since having had apnea).

I'm going to stock up on protein bars tomorrow so I have a healthy snack to hand (I'm over eating cheese and creamcheese pancakes for now).

DD is already planning on next year.  The better you do at Worlds the more doors open for better choreographers.  They don't want to waste their time on teams who don't have a chance.  The top music man was waiting for her when they got off the floor. 

I haven't tried the pancakes yet but they are on my list of to do's.  What do you do with the heavy cream?  Do you whip it or just pour it on your fruit straight out of the box?

Protein bars make me hungry and dump big time so be careful with them.

You can have them on their own, with raisins in the batter, pouring cream, whipped heavy cream (with Splenda) and some low sugar jelly.  Butter and cinnamon and SF syrup is good or with lemon and sprinkled sweetener (that's how we have traditional crêpes before lent - well with sugar for most).

Some people have savory versions but I've not ventured there.

I wonder what makes you dump in the protein bars - they're usually lowish carbs (it can vary quite a bit) and they're low fat.

I'm tired just thinking about your trip. Glad to hear that the girls did so well. You must have been so proud.

I'm sure the scale will go down soon. You'll get back on track in no time flat. Glad you are back in one piece.
