Great to have you back Roz!  Glad to hear that hubby is on the mend!! Good news!

Nothing on the go tonight and just boring old work today.  I just realized I have a dilemma.  We are heading to Martinsville, VA for the weekend and its going to be 80 degrees....all my shorts fall off of me....le sigh.  Its only a couple of days, I may be able to get by in capris, and I know not something I should complain about but dang, never thought of that!! LOL

B - 1 egg, 1 cheese slice

S - 2 farmboy meatballs

L - chicken breast

S - greek yogurt

D - pot roast

S - premier protein shake

Total Cal 972, carbs 33, protein 114

I think I need to buy one too .. i like you have never managed to buy an accurate one grrr . i put mine one place on the floor its one weight ... slide it over 5 lbs less . do digital scales work bebetter?

Glad to hear your hubby is home! Busy day helping my parents out, now I need to get ready for my mamogram.

B protein coffee

L 4 oz chicken breast, 2 pickles

S small gala apple with 1 T peanut butter

D  4 oz cod turned into lightly floured and sauteed, brocolli and a piece of corn bread

S 1/2 cup special k high protein with a splash of fairlife skim milk

S: spinach dip, pita crackers

D: chicken breast, mixed vegetables

 

Had about my fill of the spinach dip and don't need the pita crackers anyway, so this is the last day of that

I was soooo excited when I logged on and saw your Profile picture!!!   My DH retired in May and it seems like everything has changed.  I'm not ready to join him at home every day.  My Director might have to kick me out to make me leave...LOL.

Getting rid of the carbs should definitely do it.  I would love to see you posting every day!

WARNING TO SELF AND TO ANYONE WHO WILL LISTEN!!! AVOID 'BAD' CARBS AT ALL COSTS!!! THEY ARE ADDICTING!! THEY WILL SLOW DOWN YOUR WEIGHT LOSS DURING THE LOSING STAGE (and you won't even notice)!! THEY WILL MAKE THE SCALE GO UP AFTER THE HONEYMOON PERIOD IS OVER.

Success in Maintenance starts with GOOD CHOICES during the Honeymoon Period.

I feel I need to repeat this: I am a FIRM believer in Good Whey Protein Drinks!!!!!  It is sooooo much harder to do Maintenance without them!

 

Afternoon LW's!!!   DH got out of the hospital.  He is very tired but doing good.  Nothing but IV's and a small amount of food has made him pretty weak.
