I think about 10-11 months. Surgery weight of 220, low 111. Settled around 125, now 135. Would love to be back to 125. Bounce back is very real.

I'm not good about posting when I am away because I stay so busy but this past week it was basically impossible to get a connection even with my phone. My new house in Windsor, SC is in the middle of nowhere but until the last 2 hurricanes, I could talk on the phone and check email, etc from the tablet. For about 5 days after the first storm, no way. This time, I had no connection for the 8 days I was there. I ended up getting a dish put up so next time I am gone, I will have internet one way or the other.
I miss you guys and the scale shows it too. I am going to have to buy a scale for there. I need daily accountability . So I am home for about a week - 10 days then gone again. It is the busy season for my events and the next 2 are in Windsor in November.

Welcome back. It is so easy to put it on and so hard to take it off. It is a daily lifelong commitment but it is doable. I had good luck with the 5 day pouch test as a "reset" Need to do it again.
Stick on here and post on M&M. It helps me when I can/do.

I baked another batch of low carb Brownies and these are much better than the ones I made last Sunday. These are edible but not something I would serve to guests. They aren't so good I will be reaching for one too often. A teaspoon of peanut butter helped the taste.
Today was much cooler. Sunday and Monday were really hot and our AC had been wrapped for winter. I was ready to rip the cover off. I don't do hot weather without AC very well. Today was much better.

To lose regain : 95% is the diet, 5% is the exercise.
If I work out too hard too much - I get blood sugar fluctuation and get really hungry. Moderatevexercise worked best for me. Walking yoga..etc.. But then I already had a good muscle mass so even moderate exercise allowed me to keep them.
I personally did not use shakes - the are liquid - slider food and would leave me hungry...instead I used dense proteins , fat and low carbs veggies... Nuts as snacks.
Good luck.

Thanks!
The white toast and low fat crackers are actually a prescribed part of our very, very, spelled out diet plan from my surgeon. I can have white TOAST and crackers from week 5 until week 8. I am very careful to keep my protein high. I won't eat them if I won't meet my protein goal for the day. I am at the 85 grams per day level now. By the time I reach 8 weeks, I'll be at my goal of 90gms a day. That is also when I have to switch to all whole grain. It won't be hard to give up bread then. I really don't like wheat at all! :-)
Thank you for the advice!
