Pat, the magic this time is that you have a tool to help you out. You are forgetting that you have this wonderful little pouch that will help you to remember not to fall back into your old patterns. You must remember to pray and ask God for strength and guidance and you will be successful this time. You are not a failure you are doing so well with your weight loss and you should be extremely happy about it. Don't let fear overtake your joy and success. Just you wait after you reach the century club you will still keep losing the weight. You just have to remember you have to work the tool in order for the tool to work for you. Pat!! Hi there! You know what they say about growth? It's when you begin to realize your issues instead of denying them. You may still have issues but your are nw at the point where you can begin to confront them and NOT deny that you have them. GREAT WORK!!! OXOXOXO MARCY

I just read your profile and I was so impressed that I just had to tell you so. You have kept such a good record and made it so interesting to read too. My husband and I both had our open rny's at Pacific Bariatric too with DR. Rumsey. His (Doug, aka: OLD RODEO CLOWN PANTS) was in Oct 2001 and he has lost 215 lbs. Mine was in June 2001 and I have lost 110 lbs. We live in La Mesa so we are not too far from you in Lakeside. We used to live in Santee many years ago, right on the border of Lakeside, near the Home of the Guiding Hands. You are doing so well on your gastric bypass journey. I congratulate you on your wonderful weight loss. I also enjoy reading all of your postings on the message board. I also enjoy Stacie O's stuff too!! Keep up the good fight and you will win this battle.

Pat - Great idea about taking a few bites of a protein bar instead of blowing it with something that has no nutritional value!! Thanks for sharing your experience. I truly enjoy reading your posts on the message board!! You are SUCH an inspiration to me!!

Pat, Love ya babe!!! This is a learning curve. You're right each of us are bumbling along trying to learn and to "survive" but our word and support are there for everyone else. I've always said that I was a great motivator...just not for myself. That's why I have all you AMOS babes!!! :) Keep up the learning! Have a great evening.
