Pat you remind me so much of my mother-in-law who by the way is a wonderful woman, she said for years she could loose 100 pounds a million times (which she has) she just could not keep it off. And she refused to ever yo-yo again. So after seeing my success with WLS, she decided too to have it done, now 2 weeks out she is 30 pounds lighter. Take care. Good luck to you and much success.

Pat, your posts always bring a smile to my face. I am glad you are home, that the train that hit you was of a single car variety, and that you are doing well. Welcome to this side of the journey! God Bless.

Pat is home, she came home yesterday and was looking forward to laying down with some good ole pain meds. Her spirits were a bit low, there was a woman in her pre-op clinic that didn't pull through. She didn't want to bum everyone out on the board but we are so supportive here and think we should all say a prayer for the woman's family. I do not know details, her size, her medical history, anything at all. All I know is that when you have come so far and fought so long for "getting your life back" to have it taken is terrible. Pat, I am Thankful you are home and that you are doing well. Keep the board posted of your progress. Your a loser, BABY!!!!

Angel Flying in with a HUGE SMILE on my face. I spoke to Pat's roomie at the hospital who I have been annoying by calling all day, and besides having a really sore throat Pat said she is doing good and her tummy doesn't hurt just her throat. I do not know details as of yet, or why it took what seemed like FOREVER for her to get to her room but I will post ASAP. pat welcome to the losing side. Finally I can breathe a sigh of relief, Special thanks to Lesa and Stacie O. for your concern sorry I scared ya all with my last post but I was worried about my Girlie Girl :) She's a loser now!!!! WOOHOO!!!! Thank you God for bringing Pat through safe and sound. Night all.
