last weekend my love and i went to Formula Drift in Long Beach and we had a blast....after it was all over we decided to grab dinner and take it to the pier and enjoyed it while over looking the beautiful ocean. Just wanted to share a cpl of snap shots with everyone!!

p.s. it was the first time i can remember walking for MILES all damn day and my back didnt hurt at all!! what a difference 50 lbs makes!

OH and im down 53 lbs! yay

well i took pics a little over a week ago at 4 weeks post op and finally got around to posting them.
I've lost 45lbs, was at 40 lbs lost in these pics.
I honestly really couldnt see the loss until i put these pics side by side with my before pictures.
I still have a lot of weight to lose...but i couldnt ask for a better start.

i see it mostly in my face here!

wow there is soooo much to update on! Well first a few weeks ago i got a call from my surgeons office informing me that my surgery date was being moved from march 6th to APRIL 3rd to accomodate his schedule....needless to say i was DEVESTATED!
I was so upset by this and immidately asked to be put on a cancellation list thinking i might just be able to get it done in march after all....WELL i got a call the following week (feb 10th) asking me to come in for PRE-OP testing and said i'd be having surgery that thursday (TWO DAYS LATER!!!!!) it has been a roller coaster ride ever since!
well it has now been 10 since i had surgery and i am down 26 lbs.
I cant believe i actually did this...so far, ive only had one day of "regret" ...i know we all go through it, it just happened to get to me when i was all alone and feeling tired, bloated and constipated and just couldnt find relief for any of my issues...BUT every single day is better than the last and that just gives a great deal of hope for my future...the weight is just melting away!  I personally cant see it yet, but my boyfriend says he can =)

This is definitely not easy, as a matter of fact i can honestly say it is, to date, the hardest thing ive ever had to do.
I cant wait to get this damn drain out (happens on tuesday) and get off of mushies! yuk.

not too happy that it is so far away, but i am soooooo happy to finally have it!!!!

approved approved approved approved approved!!!!!! ahh i LOVE that effing word lol!!!
I cant believe it...my partner in crime at work (jamie) found out she was approved today too...im sooo happy and excited, its never felt this real!!
We go to a pre op prep class this friday where we will be given our surgery dates!

i still havent heard anything from insurance....still WAITING, and im getting nervous.
But i have great news, im about to place a bid on a house and IM GETTING MARRIED lol...details to come, but yes IM GETTING MARRIED...i still dont believe it lol

well all tests are complete and the surgeons office got clearance from my pcp, i was told on friday that everything would be evaluated and submitted to insurance this week..didnt get an exact date, but i guess although things have slowed, they are still moving along.
trying to stay positive as i wait...

gallbladder ultrasound completed!
psych eval completed!
would've been done if darn pcp didnt order the echocardiogram, thats scheduled for dec 1st, but ill be calling EVERY DAY for cancellations!
its so close i can taste it LOL

well i saw my pcp and she decided i needed to have an echocardiogram before she'll tell my surgeon im clear for for surgery, so now im just waiting for that referral to be approved so i can schedule an appointment.
I have my psych appt on thursday and my gallbladder ultrasound on friday...and YUP thats it for the pre-op testing.
cant believe its almost here =)
