the office and spoke with the secretary and asked her if I could recieve my surgery date now.She said yes and gave me my dates.

Surgery August 30th at 7:30 am.
Individual Pre-m Surgical Diet Appointment August 3rd
Pre-Operative Nutrition Class August 3rd

I just arrived for an appt. and my phone rings, Ms____you are approved. I called the secretary a few min ago. My day is Tues. August 30th. Time pending. What a blessing this is. I am packing the rest of my size 14/16 winter clothes. Giving them away before my surgery.

I went to my first session and it was FUN! I love to line dance and this will now be added to my list of favorites...and it's a long list.(I love to have fun)
The instructor knew how to dance and that makes a difference to me. I have seen some promo dancing with several instructors. I said self, and I said huh, then I said"why would I pay money for a non dancing instructor"?

Anyhoo, some knew how to keep a rhythm and some did'nt but it was okay. She said, keep moving if you get tired,get loss and or can't dance because we are here to have fun. Do I need to say that I'm returning? OH YEAH!

The phone rings at 11:23 am and it's Melissa Flood(ins. coord). I have your results and they are negative.I am so tickled I can't even tjdkjdiofhidhidhffhdhd....type straight!Melissa is submitting my results later today. Well, the WAIT begins again. 21-30 days insurance time/keeping the faith time...July 23rd! lol

I WOULD LIKE TO THANK MY OH FRIENDS FOR PM'S SENT TO ME, PRAYERS,CROSSED FINGERS,POSITIVE THOUGHTS AND INFO REGARDING THE H.PYLORI STOMACH BUG.It means alot to me and thanks again for your continued support.

I called the customer results line at 1:30 pm and the representative asked for my information and said "one moment please".....ding,we have your results.

 She said the results were sent to Ms.Flood(ins. coord.) and asked if I would like a copy; I said yes. I'll know the results 2mrw because she's not in today.

I have packed away some of my clothes already. Yes, it's too soon I know, but I am keeping faith that all is well this week.
This is my list of clothes to move out when approved. I'm  not into name brand only...I'm a whatever brand chick because I like whatever looks good on me.

I arrived at Labcorp by 12:40 pm to take my Urea Breath Test for H.pylori(re-test after taking antibiotics that made my stomach feel crappy). I was seen at 12:45 pm and was asked to have a seat in a room at the facility.

The tech walked in and asked me to take a deep breath and release the air into a small pouch like bag. She placed labels on the bag and asked me to drink some liquid that she pulled out of the Urea box and it was cold. I was thinking great,nice cold water. NOT...LOL. It was a tube of a citrus and sour semi-carbinated mix. I was thinking to myself, thanks for the warning lady.HA! I completed the drink and was asked to wait in the waiting room for 15 minutes.

Times up! I went back to the room and took another breath test in the pouch and I was done. She told me that my results could be in any day this week. Wed,Thurs. or Friday. WONDERFUL INDEED! I stopped for lunch and went home.

Crook in my neck on the left side. I believe I must have slept on 3 pillows last night unknowingly. I have been doing neck exercises and it is going away very slowly. Anyhoo, I was testing my pic resizer tool that I downloaded. It was quick and did'nt take long at all. Will have to practice with  some other pics 2mrw. Basically, I have been looking over some info that my OH girlie sent to me regarding the procedures/steps after approval for our surgeon Dr. J. Lee. I appreciate all of the information that she has given me thus far. If my HP was negative, we would have possibly had the same date or 1 week off from one another.

So, thanks TJ for the info again. I was looking through OH today for about 3 hours or so off and on today. Searching for info. such as vitamin finds,approvals,slow weight loss/fast weight loss,how long it took for some folks to lose,stalls,headaches,dumping/no dumping,funny stories about feet shrinkage(lol)....I am going to make someone's day if my feet shrink because I won't be able to wear 1 single pair(uggggggggggggggg) but it will be a blessing to someone else. Currently a size 8. I use to be a 6 BEFORE the youngins' then went to a size 8.

Getting back to the topic at hand. I was also reading about how some say *gone forever* but some gain it right back,hair loss,surgeon's  policies,how some doctor's allow puree after 2 weeks and some don't,folks being called lightweight(like I was told),what the stats are for lightweights as far as losing pounds quickly,do some have wls for health or vain reasons and etc,etc.

I am soooo ready to re-test for the HP, I can't stand it. Can't do anything but wait for the day to arrive. I thank God daily for allowing me to soak up knowledge and understanding about my surgery type RNY. I look forward to writing on my page with every step achieved.....working towards getn' that approval.

 I have found some really good deals on some clothes that I have stored in a container. will post about my finds when I hear from the insurance next month. Be blessed and please reach out to another and help them. Donate to a family,take extra's to a family,cook a meal and give it to some of the homeless persons in your neighborhood,have a cookout for the homeless in your yard. I'm not a talker..I am a do-er. Together, we can heal hearts and help someone to know that God cares and people care.

The phone rings today at 5:20 pm. Melissa(ins. coord) informs me that she will be mailing my script for Labcorp to take the H.pylori breath test. She told me that I can call or make my appointment online. I said no problem will do.

She informed me to take extended antibiotics to be on the safe side because if I were to take my test this week or even next week, the test results could come back inactive. I  was thinking okay, I certainly do not want to have that happen so the press towards approval continues and another delay.This now adds an additional 2 and a half weeks towards my pre-op journey for approval. 2 weeks of another round of antibiotics(1 pill this time)...re-test on July 5th.....then wait for results no later than July 8th,2011.

Melissa told me(she told me this before) as long as the HP returns negative that I will be approved becuase there were no other negative notes written by my insurance company other than the h.pylori test that they sprung on me at the last minute.I will be scheduled for RNY late August as stated previously. As I have noted on here before, I was reallllly hoping to have had my op. and back home before the kids start school again late August. Well, I am glad this is the only thing that is holding me up(THUS FAR) because it could be worse. I will plan for someone to stay home with my children if I can't get a date mid August. Dr. Lee requires her patients to have a private room and a hospital stay of 3 days. I will choose my date on a Friday if possible with the assumption that I will be home Sunday.
