Hi Emma. Just wanted to say hi and congrats on your surgery and initial weight loss. I hoope you are doing ok. My surgery is 11/2. Thanks for sending me a message previously. I'm getting nervous but I know this is the right thing for me to do as I'm sure you know it was the right thing for you too.

Hi Lavonne, I am sending healing thoughts your way and wishing you a speedy recovery. Your dr. was definetly serious about walking,but I bet it helps you recover much quicker! Sounds like your doing great, but that is to be expected when you have a great hubby like Ken!

Well my surgery was 2 weeks ago today and I feel very good. I am so glad I did not back out of this surgery and I am glad I did not listen to those negative people who seem to come out of the woodwork just when you decide to make some positive changes within yourself, and they try thier best to discourage you. I pretty much stayed within this site for positive reinforcement and it worked wonders for me. I am to 213 from 238 so 25 lbs in 2 weeks. Not bad! I am still afraid I am not getting enough fluids but I have committed to work hard on that. I would like to thank everyone who has written to me I appreciate all the support love and prayers. You guys are the GREATEST. Thanks again. ^j^

I'm overjoyed to hear that you are doing so well!! Congratulations on your rebirth! I'll be thinking of you as I go for my surgery on Nov 1st. You are an inspiration!
