Well surgery went very well! Let's see- the day of surgery Rosy picked us up from the hotel in Eagle Pass took us across the border....met with Dr. A and Rosales did the weight in and go over the health history....My 'sleeve brother' let me go first which I was sooo grateful for!! My nerves started kicking it, and I was getting ansy! We were admitted to our rooms, I was stuck with the smallest room :( but it was only for a day. The nurse came to take me to get lab work and xray, then I went back to the room and she came to start the iv and give me my gown to change into....i was getting very ansy then, then i recieved the 'happy juice' and remember telling my mom I love her and I think i can do this...when i woke up I was in my bed and need to use the bathroom...me wanting to do it by myself I almost fell down but thanks to mom! I didn't ;) I wasn't in that much pain, the nurses came very often to give me the pain and nauseous meds which were good, couldn't have anything to drink , not even a sip! Later on that evening I finally got some ice chips but I didn't even want them...and I started walking the halls..the nurse took me off the iv machine, but kept the iv in and over the night it began to hurt when they would put meds in, so they removed the iv...then i get very naseaous since i had the iv out I need to get a shot in my hip! O' GREAT! it waSn't that bad, then later on I need pain meds I couldn't get comfortable in the bed since I am a side sleeper! so the pain pill was a sublingual tablet and it had a minty taste which didn't agree with my body and as I am  the doctor walks in, so I get a sleeping pill which helped a great deal :) the mexico time and eastern time-totally messed me up! By this time I am ready to go home/the hotel just out of the hospital! The morning to leave....I get some jello and some juice..the juice was THE BEST juice ever!! So we have a consult with the doctor before leaving to get the discharge information, I notice that my hand were the iv was had...is very swollen but being to anxious to leave it skips my mind and I don't even say anything...most of Dr.A's patients after discharge you stay at the hotel, but I was scheduled to head to the airport! The ride back to San Antonio was a bit rough on the tummy! But I had a pillow to hold against my stomach which helped a lot, the plane ride wasn't that bad but we did run into some turbalance but I had that handy dandy pillow!  Overall it was GREAT, would do it again in a heart beat....
