 Wow!  WOW! I cannot even begin to describe my emotions...let me try: Elation...Happiness...Anxiousness.

I just found out that my Surgery is approved!   The surgery date has been set for 6/3.  *pinching self* Is this really happening?    I am so happy....a part of me is also "mourning" for the current me.  I have known this body for so long...not that I will miss it but...agh, so very confusing to try to explain.   

I will now need update my goals and set new ones!

Okay.  So now all the necessary requirements by my Insurance carrier have been met and this week it will be submitted.  I will have my "approval" =) in about a few weeks.

I am very excited and nervous, I don't usually make posts, etc but since this is about me and my journey..why not.   I just joined today, I stumbled across this website by accident and am quite happy to see I am not alone.  Currently I am 40yrs old, Female with two children: 11 and 5, married for 5 yrs.  I decided last October/2007 to look into surgery.  After going to a recommended place, I attended my first orientation and meeting.  The folks there were so supportive and friendly.  I was very nervous but encouraged.

After my initial Insurance review, I found I neded 6 month Dr. approved medical supervision, Psych analysis and a Nutritionist consultation.

Welp, I am pleased to say I have completed my 6th month Dr's visit!  Next week I have my Psych analysis, and Nutritionist visit completed.  After which all the paperwork wil be submitted to the Ins. company.

Once approved (I will not say "if approved!) then a date will be set.  =)
