Update on Lap Band Pre-op process

I recieved a phone call from Dr. coirin's office on December 12, 2008 The call I was wating for I HAD APPROVAL!!!!!!

Pre op appointment: 1-13-2009

Surgery date is SET for 1/19/2009

Post op appointment is set for: 1-26-2009

I am begining a liquid diet on January 15, 2009 though it was not required by my surgeon.  Better safe than Sorry... lol...
 

My jorney began 7/23/08 when I attended my Lap band seminar with Dr. Antonio Coirin.  I wasn't sure going in to the seminar that I wanted to do this but I was convinced it was best for me by the time I had left

I attended my consultation on 9/22/08.

I had to get my thyroid tested and get doctors clearance for surgery. This was both done on 10/18/08

Psychological Evaluation - 10/27/08  Dr. Morgan

4 hour Pre Op class-- 11/5/08

Nutritional Evaluation -- 11/21/08 Carol Kraft

11/26/08 called surgeons office still hadn't recieved my nutritional evaluation

12/8/08  called surgons office had just recieved nutritional evaluation and was in process of sending paperwork for approval.

Today I am waiting to hear back on approval.
Keeping my fingers crossed
and maybe my toes at times...
getting anxious...................
