I am sorry you lost Mia.. but I think Mia lives on.. in your heart, and on to a next world... the Bible says that in heaven the lion lays down with the lamb, so why wouldnt Mia be there too? Griving is natural, and very okay... I am sending you a big, warm hug~~~ to love is divine....loving your sweet Mia is a reflection of you...

Dear Carolin ~ I know it has been a few days since the loss of your sweet kitty... I just wanted to say how sorry I am. It's never easy to lose a loved one especially the furchildren we have in our lives. Some people might be cruel in this time of loss but they simply don't understand. Just think how she felt in your arms and the wonderful times you had together. She is always in your heart. I read your poem... I hope I'm not of line but I really don't think God broke his promise... he just never told you how long you would have her... Take care of yourself and learn how to grieve w/out the old habits coming back to haunt you. My heart goes out to you...

Carolyn- you made my eyes leak...what a beautifu tribute to Mia~ I can feel the love you have for her- May you and Allen and mia find peace~ pets are very much like children to us and the loss so difficult ot comprehend..they cannot tell us when they hurt- yet we feel so responsible. God Bless

Caroline your poem touched my heart. I have my 13 year old cat who is my baby and I have thought alot lately about her age and what I would feel when she goes. My heart goes out to you. Pat

Caroline, I am so sorry about your loss. I'm like you and I love cats. I got Itsy when she was a tiny baby and I have had her for 14 years. I feed some strays in the alley behind my house and I love each and everyone of them and it is just so hard when something happens to one. I'll keep you in my prayers that the coming days and months will get easier for you. God Bless our 4 legged hairballs. - Tammy

Dear dear dear Caroline, I am so sorry about the loss of Mia. Know I am thinking of you and saying prayers for that every present but sometime elusive courage. I know this is a hard time for you and I am only an email away. With lots of hugs, Mary in Anaheim

Caroline: I'm so sorry for the loss of your dear companion. I know how hard it is to lose one of our beloved pets; almost as hard as a child. They never talk back and love us unconditionally, only expecting to be fed, have a clean litterbox, and be loved in return. I know you miss her deeply, and I'm keeping you in my prayers that God will comfort you during this difficult time.
