It is 2:15 am  and my alram is set for 2:30.  Since I couldn't sleep I thought I'd just hop on and read everyones postive  e-mails that everyone on here has sent.  I must admit I'm a bit on the nervous side.   But, that is ok.  I know m husband is about to go crazy this morning..... He's not dealing with his nerves nearly as well!!  But, I guess that's a guy!!  JK!!

So about that bowel prep last night...... WOW that was some powerful poo!!! LOL!!  It was a good thing that we have 2 bathrooms!!  Todd would be running to one, while I to the other!!!  My 6 y/o finally said, "mom how can you keep pooping". I told him that I woundered that same thing!!

Well my OH friends... I must go and start getting everyone ready for the day!!! My journey is starting a new chapter!!

O my!!!  It's finally here!!  We just went to our very long preop day @ UofC today.... I think it has finally hit me in the face........IT'S GOING TO HAPPEN!!  YEA!!!!!!    I am sooo ready to start my journey!!  Look out world here I come!!! 

So I have managed to find all our vitamins that we need... That turned into more of a job than I thought it would be!!  Thanks to all that helped me figure all of it out.

We are on our 10 day liver reduction diet now....Grrr.... this is a tough one!! What I didn't understand @ our metting today is that not everyone that I met gets put on it... it almost seemed like they were picking @ random who does it and who doesn't.... I think there were about 10 other pt's there today having either DS or RNY done, only half of us were on the diet.... Hmmmm.  Don't know.  I'm not going to wimp out on it though.... It's made for a very interesting last few days I must say!!  LOL!!

  WELL ALL THE APPROVAL IS IN THE BAG!!!  THE INS APPROVED MY HUSBAND TODAY!! MY CASE WORKER, EVON, @ U OF C CALLED ME THIS AFTERNOON AND TOLD ME IT WAS A FULL GO!!! 

THANKS FOR ALL THE PRAYERS!!

SO,,,,, MY HUSBAND IS IN LIMBO WITH PENDING APPROVAL FOR THE SURGERY!!  HIS TSH LEVEL WAS 0.18 TO HIGH!!!!! GRRR!!! 
I'M LIKE WHAT THE HECK!!  SO HE HAS ONE WEEK TO BE REDRAWN AND GET A "NORMAL" LEVEL FOR THEM OR U OF C WILL HAVE TO RELEASE HIS SURGERY DATE!!......

THIS IS CRAZY!!!  PRAY THAT HIS MEDS WILL WORK AND GET HIM BACK IN "THERAPUTIC" RANGE!!!

I DON'T WANT TO WALK THIS JOURNEY WITHOUT HIM!!

I CAN'T BELIEVE IT!!  FRIDAY WHEN I GOT UP FOR WORK (I WORK NIGHTS SO THAT WAS LIKE 4PM)  I HAD A MESSAGE FROM MY CASE WORKER @ U OF C!!!  MY INSURACE SENT ALL THE PAPERWORK AND SHE WANTED TO SET MY SURG DATE!!
I TALKED TO HER ABOUT OUR DELIMA WITH MY HUSBAND, AND SHE UNDERSTOOD AND WENT AHEAD AND SET HIS DATE TOO SINCE WE ARE SO CLOSE TO GETTING ALL HIS STUFF FINAL TOO!!!

DOESN'T THAT JUST SOUND WOUNDERFUL!!

TO TOP IT OFF, ON MY WAY INTO WORK I GET ANOTHER PHONE CALL AND IT IS THE LADY FROM OUR PCP'S OFFICE, SHE SAID THAT SHE WANTED TELL ME THAT SHE STAYED OVER AND FINISHED ALL OF TODD'S PAPERWORK AND FAXED IT ALL TO THE INS OFFICE!!!  SO MONDAY MORNING MY INS OFFICE WILL HAVE THAT!!

MAN!!!  WHAT A BLESSING!!

  OK....  so this waiting for INS to approve us has been longer than I thought.  We have found some issues.... Our PCP  dropped the ball on us, so to say, and is dragging his feet with our paperwork!! 
I'm very heartbroken for so many reasons... We have always thought wounderful things about our PCP, he greatly backed us up on our journey with WLS, and has even prayed with us in the office!!!  but for some reason the office is not doing anything right when it comes to getting all the paperwork to then INS company that they are wanting!! 
I have struggled with trying not to complain to much because i know they are busy.  I have called them so many times that i feel like i am a thorn in their side and i hate that feeling. i have even had the INS company send a letter with detailed info of what they needed!!! GRRRR!!! 
Last week the INS company said they recieved everything for me!!! approved me too!!! but they had nothing correct from the Dr's office for my husband!!!   What the flying heck is all that about!!
when i spoke to the Dr's office AGAIN they couldn't believe they hadn't sent the same thing for my husband that they had for me,  after looking @ their copies they realized they hadn't and stated they would "get on that". 
My extra stress fall in $ issues!!!  we set a chunk of $ aside in our Flex account @ work for the copays and such.... if we don't use this by the end of the year it is gone!!!  I never thought it would come down to this!! 
I have to pray for patients!!!
