Hey everyone, this is CJF's angel here. I had my surgery about 3 weeks ago (7/14/03) and she was such a GREAT ANGEL that I can only hope I can fill her shoes (a hard job because she is the "Shoe Lady". Her surgery is less than 2 weeks away so lets fill up her page with lots of well wishes.

OK! I want to thank all the people who keep this site up and running. The wonderful job all the voluteers are doing. But I'm very disappointed in the members on here who haven't taken the time to post on those surgery pages who need support just like you needed before, during, and after surgery. I don't post much on the message board, but I try to hit as many of the up coming surgery pages as possible. I had the opportunity to be an angel for the 1st time. I sent out several messages to encourage members to post some warm thoughts on her surgery page. Now I know there are at least 200,000 on this site and not just 12. So when Momma Angel asks for your support, or anyone who takes the time to let us know that someone needs us, don't think I don't have time. Because others have taken time for you either with support or a wish of good luck in your path, or a prayer said for you. TAKE THE TIME PEOPLE! How would you like it if no one posted on your page? And if you are one of the persons who never got a post, write me and I'll give you full support, wherever you are on your journey. Even if you only post on a few that better that none! This is a support site. Support our fellow friends, family, and those you don't know. OK I'm off the soap box. If you plan to reply to this Message be sure if it's a gripe, you had better be an active member who does support others. Until later.

HI Ms Shoe Lady :), I just wanted to thank you for the post to my page, I also want to wish you well on you progress. I'm going to update my page later tonight, but as you go for all of your tests and evaluations, PLEASE ask questions about tests you may hear about from research on this site. I snore, I know I snore very loud at times, and there were maybe 2 or three times when I woke up gasping for air. I mentioned this to my pulmonologist, and he told me that he did not see a need for a sleep study test for sleep apnea. So, I went with his feelings and marked his visit off my list. Long story short, my heart conked out on the table in surgery due to sleep apnea. IT IS SO IMPORTANT TO Question your specialists and make sure they pay attention to you.ASK QUESTIONS. GOD was with me. I hope I didn't scare you.:) I am feeling great now, and I'm only 6 days out..GOD BLESS YOU
