I think all of my gripping and complaining lost me 5 oz!!!  Today I was 228.5!!!!!!  I hope it stays that way!!

It's finally happened....I am finally having the I'm so freaking hungry struggle!  AH!!!  Up until a couple of days ago I had some restriction still from surgery.  I would for sure get hungry but then I would start to eat and then I would start to get that full/satisfied feeling in my chest and be good for a few hours.  Now I'm feeling like I'm hungry all the time!  I'm thinking maybe it's because I have been feeling depressed and stressed out the last 2 days and that maybe it's just head hunger?  Tomorrow is a new day and I will just keep myself busy and get back into being active and I'm sure that will help.....2 more weeks until my first fill.......

It's been a few days now and the scale keeps reading 229 so I think it's official....

I'm bouncing back and forth between 229 and 230....

I'm doing pretty ok with hunger to my surprise.  For me I found that the trick is to keep busy so that's exactly what I've been doing.  Also I find that I do feel satisfied after my tiny meals, not stuffed, but not hungry anymore either.  Although I know that my old self could go on eating. 

I have noticed that nights are the hardest for me with battling with hunger but it was like that for me before surgery too.  This time I just  don't give in!

Anyway, so far so good!

My next appointment is November 15th and I'm hoping for my first fill.

I have officially lost 20 lbs since surgery today!  I was so excited when I got on the scale tonight and it read 231.5!  That is 30 lbs since April of this year at my heaviest. (I was doing Atkins for 4 months before surgery).

And today we had a birthday party for my daughter's 3rd birthday and people finally noticed I lost weight and everyone was talking about me!  It was a little embarrassing but it felt good too.

232!!!!!!!!!!!  BMI 36.3!

I think it's maybe official because I saw 233.5 THREE times this morning!!!

I just wanted to say that tonight I was 234 again with my pj's ON!!!!  YEE STINKING HAWWW!!!!!   That would be a total of 17 lbs now but I'm not making it official until it sticks to that a little longer or gets lower!  But for tonight I'm happy!

These are some of my progress pics I know they are not very good but it's what I have.

This morning I weighed 234 (without clothes) again.  It goes up and down a couple of lbs all day.

It's kind of hard to read the captions....

The first one says "Day of surgery 251"
The second one says "Day after surgery bloated 251" and the weird face is because I am doped up and in a LOT of pain.
The third one says "About 2 weeks after surgery 239ish"
The fourth one says "About 2 weeks after surgery 236ish"

I went in for my first appointment after surgery and it went OK.  I was still on full liquids at that time but was told I could advanced to pureed foods so that was cool, YAY FOR COTTAGE CHEESE!  I forgot got to ask what kind of band I had which was annoying on my part.  I weighed in at 239 which was also annoying because at home that morning I weighed 235.5 (naked).  Which brings me to why scales are annoying....

I have been weighing between 239 and 234 all week.  I just want to stop going up and down and just go down!  When people ask how much weight have I lost I really have no idea.  I guess it's between 12 and 17 lbs. 

OK, enough whining at least I'm losing something! =)

Other than that I am nearing in no pain at all I only feel uncomfortable in the morning in my chest if I'm laying down.  I've read that that is normal to feel tight in the morning, or common at least. 

Oh and I get my first fill November 15th and I can't wait.  I know I probably won't feel restriction that early on but it's a step in the right direction!
