Angel duty! Please pray for my friend Laurie as she prepares for sugery. She is only ONE WEEK away. I posted earlier today but it got eaten.. Laurie has been fighting strep throat for the last couple of weeks and needs a complete healing before surgery. Lift her up in your prayers please. And LOTS of encouragement on her page. Well, I have 61 days and a wake up, then my surgery. I am kind of nervous that something will go wrong, but my uncle's sis and soon to be ex just had it in Nov and Dec respectively and both did very well. My soon to be ex had it with the same doc I am having it with. I am also VERY excited, reading everyone's comments about afterward. I weigh more than I ever have and still have coworkers and my father saying that I don't need surgery. Well, I am 35 and have been overweight from my teens except for a couple time when I worked out 4 days a week at the gym and hardly ate. The last time was about 6 years ago. I did this for 2 years and STILL weighed 200 pounds? I probably looked like some chick from WWF!! I have such a hard time even just walking anymore and have a 3 1/2 year old son and would like to do more with him. I have been praying a lot. I must say God sure takes wonderful care of me!! I am having surgery at Cleveland Clinic and they make sure you are followed by a nutritionist before you even go into the hospital so you know what you will need to eat. I think they also want you to lose a little weight before you have surgery. Well, thanks for listening. Please say a prayer for me. Thanks for being here...I LOVE this website and actually have my soon to be ex to thank for letting me know about it!! Love, Laurie
