Gar, I read your post on the Message Board. So much of how you described the way that you are feeling fits with how I felt early on after my Lap RNY. I just wanted to encourage you that I sipped water all day long and gradually was able to get back to taking "normal" mouthfuls again; that feeling dehydrated sensation did pass as I drank all day long. When I first got home and tried to walk with my DH to the mailbox, I couldn't even make it halfway. I was so exhausted, I started crying right then and there. That got better as well. Now, 11 months out, I'm feeling better than I felt in years and am so glad I had this surgery. I pray that you will feel that way as you feel better as well. Big Hugs.

"this too shall pass". Right now you're like a butterfly in it's coocoon. Without this struggle of the "coocoon" your "wings" would never take shape, and would be too small. Then how would you "fly"? When you imgere from you coocoon you will be a BEAUTIFUL butterfly, both MENTALLY & PHYSICALLY and you'll know that those wings you EARNED will help you soar through anything in life. Because they are tried and tested though the struggle of this time in your life. Hang in there. and prayers to you. -Marlene N

<font face="Jester><font color="purple">Hey everyone!!!!! First, many blessings to all on the boards. Second, Gar, as you know from her post has come home. WooHoo, however, she is kind of down. Lets just muster up one last post of encouragement for her when she gets on the computer next time so she will know that we have missed her and we care about her. There aren't very many people who care as much as Gar does for the AMOS members. She is kind and considerate and always has a word of encouragement for all of us who need it. Its her turn now. Post some LOVE guys, post some LOVE!!!!!!! Thanks to all, Pastor Kay

Gar, Chin up, sweetie! No one said this would be easy, but believe me it will be worth it! Just give it a bit of time and do the things your doctor tells you. Drink, drink, drink! It is SO important and makes such a difference even though it doesn't seem to at first. Hope your doggies are home and making you feel better. You will be so glad you have done this once the "honeymoon" is over. Funny, with marriage a honeymoon is great, wls is a different story! Take care!
