It's Done!!

It's done I had my surgery on Monday August 17th. I went back and forth with it and almost didn't do it at all. But God opened doors I wouldn't have even deemed possible and I walked on in there on Monday ready for surgery. My Surgeon is the best! Dr. Patel is one of the best if not THE BEST bariatric surgeons around!!And that's no joke. I went through with no problems or complications, INNOVA hospital in San Antonio took such good care of me, I almost didn't want to go home. I didn't think I could make it without the nurses who were so attentive and understanding, so today is Saturday I've made it throught the first week and I can more things for myself than I could previously. I can get in and out of bed, I have a system, I can go to the restroom on my own (how embarrasing to need help wiping
) but no more! lol. I'm walking around feeling pretty good, still can't go too long, but it's getting better. I'm on the liquid diet, and at first it was just fine, now I have boughts with head hunger and can't wait till I get to the mushy's! To be able to eat scrambled eggs sounds lovely! So thank to all of those that prayed for me, and thought about me during that time, I made it!!
