Hi Michelle!!!!!!!!!! I am so happy for you. I wish you the best with your surgery. I had surgery on march 18th. My weight was 409. I am no down to 347lbs. Today was the first time that I walked in a long time. I must admit tht I feel very well. We can do anything we put our minds too. Keep up the good work and may god bless you!

MICHELLE, I FEEL YOUR PAIN AND ESPECIALLY SINCE YOU HAVE NO FAMILY TO TURN TO IN YOUR NEED, MY ONLY ADVICE I CAN GIVE IS TO TAKE IT ONE STEP AT A TIME, AFTER YOU GET YOUR SURGERY YOU WILL BE ABLE TO WORK AND GET A JOB SO YOU WILL BE IN CONTROLE OF YOUR LIFE. BUT MOST OF ALL DONT BEAT YOURSELF UP. BLESS YOU SWEETIE, SUSAN MCNEIL

Dear Michelle, it broke my heart to read your AMOS post about the amusement park ride. At least you actually tried to go on! I would take my daughter right past the rides because I knew I wouldn't fit, or I'd bring someone else with me to enjoy the rides with MY daughter! Now, I'm going on all the rides and the smiles that she gives me on those rides are worth every single hard time I ever experienced! Your day will come and I'm sure you'll make your daughter very proud! Good Luck!

Shelly, First, I wanted to say welcome and to wish you good luck with your WLS decision. Second, I wanted to say that you have a very special daughter! You are very lucky. Even at her young age, it sounds like she is a great support system for you. If you need anything or would like to talk to someone, feel free to email me [email protected] I am 26 years old and am having surgery on June 10th. I would be happy to share my experiences so far with you. Best wishes! Allie

I don't know where you live or what your situation is but in most states you can get MA or something like that throught your Welfare office. Just a suggestion. I will be thinking about you. Dawn
