Jeffrey Rosen

"My first impression of Dr. Rosen was that he had cinnamon fresh breath. No really he was very nice and down to Earth. He explained things in a very clear manner, but not to the point where I felt like an idiot. His staff is very close as they work together in 2 offices. They are all incredibly friendly and when they talk to you, they sit down with you and make you feel like you are the only one that matters. It is all about you. Dr. Rosen, as well as his staff emphasize how important aftercare is. They also stress the importance of the pre-op care. They want to make sure that you prepare your body for what is to come. I am very pleased by his surgical competence, I have very small incisions that after only 3 weeks post-op I can see will hardly be visible. He takes the precaution of placing a G-tube or feeding tube, just in case the ability to eat or drink becomes compromised. The G-tube comes out after a month post-op. The risks were all discussed in detail, and while they may have frightened me I could see that the benefits of this surgery completely outweigh the negatives. I am completely satisfied with Dr. Rosen overall and look forward to my continued work with him in the many follow-ups to come. If there would be one thing that I could ask him to improve upon, it would be to be able to see him more in the hospital. I was in the hospital for 4 days and saw him 3 times. I didn't even see him for my discharge. I saw a top trauma surgeon who was very nice and friendly. Of course, I think Dr. Rosen was not feeling well that day. I won't hold that against him. HE IS GREAT!!!"
