Update: It has been 1week and I just got a call  from my doctors office and she was going on and on I was like get to the point  and the she gave me my new birthday date August 21st I screamed so loud then I rememdered I was at work. I can hardly sit down in my chair my heart is racing.I knew that this day was coming I just cannot believe what I just heard. Now my nerves are starting to kick in and I fell little butterflies in my stomach I know it is just me . Well I will be on the losers bench soon. This is now  one of the best days of my new life. As they say IT'S BEEN A LONG A LONG TIME COMING BUT I KNOW OH OH A CHANGE GONE COME.

I am so nervousI do not know if I should be. I got my approval in hand on Wednesday 15th of last week so I called the doctor and they told me that they would contact me to schedule my first office visit. She then said she already had the approval letter in hand and they are a month behind on appointments.  So here is where I get a little worried on my approval letter it states and end date of Sept 16th. I wonder if that is the last day that approval will be valid and if so would I have to go through the approval process all over again. I hope not. I hope I am just nervous for nothing. Hope I here from them soon.

I called my insurance company and I almost fell out my chair when they told me I was approved.  The insurance was fine to work with I did not have any problems other than it took them almost 30 days for my approval. But, anyway about five minutes later my doctors office called and said they had the approval letter in hand. Now I must wait to get and appointment for my initial consultation with my doctor since I found they have a waiting list of people waiting on appts. I was told that could take up to 2 weeks but that is fine with me I feel I have one of the hardest hurdles over with. And let me not forget to say thank you to GOD for making all of this possible.

I know its been a while since I last posted but I have finally finished getting all of my clearances done now I am just waiting to get a answer to see if I am approved.

I still have not heard anything from the dr letting me know what is my next step. I hope after waiting this long I am picked as a pt.

Turned in all required paperwork that the dr needs. Waiting to hear from him to see if he is going to take me on as a pt. I hope to hear somthing by Friday. Wish me luck  That wait turned into 3 weeks called and called. Dr computer was down for a month since they were in the process of moving.

On 1-24-09 I went to a seminar with a great doctor this is the doctor of my dreams. I have sent in all the required documents I am hoping I am picked to be one of his Pt's. I is so good today to finally feel like I am on my way to a new life and not down in the dumps. I will up dare when I hear from the Dr to see if I am accepted as a pt.

1-22-09 was my first office visit to a doctor who I heard was great. When I arrived it was okay filled out the normal paperwork ans waited and waited and waited. First problem appt scheduled for 8am Dr shows up at 11:30am was not called back until 12:10pm and when I did go back they said I would be weighted I know how much I weight but I figured that the Dr would want a weight in office nope the only thing that they did check was my temp and blood pressure. Then I had to wait in the back another 45min to see the Dr so I had arrived at 7:45am and it was 1pm when I finally saw the Dr. When he came in he introduced himself and started to talk I could not get in a word let alone ask a question. On top of all that  he was not very encouraging he stated that it may be a year before he would even submit the paperwork to the insurance company then wait to be scheduled an op date once approved which he said could be another 3 to 6 months.  

I am not going to let that stop me since I did not have a good feel for that Dr anyway. I will just move on. I have a seminar with a very experienced Dr on 1-24-08 who I know for sure is great. Should have just went with my heart in the first place and not try to rush things and wait for this Dr. I know it may take a while but he is very experienced and I hope it will not take a year just to submit my paperwork.
