Compliment

Major wierd moment today.  Was eating dinner, waiting for Karl to get home from work.  He's helping a buddy get back in to shape and working out late after working 12 hour shifts!  Crazy but he's got a big heart.

Anyway, the phone rang and I had hot, hot, hot chili and couldn't get to the phone.  It was a call from Karl and I knew he would be home in about 15 minutes.  So he got home and asked if I checked my message.  Of course I hadn't because i was just finishing eating.

Checked the message and it was a familiar voice but I didn't recognize it.  Basically the message was..."your husband lost his phone and I saw your hot picture on there an it said my true love.  If you are ever looking to replace your husband, here's my number."  Weird because I recognized the voice but couldn't place it.

It was one of the guys that Karl use to coach football with.   I had a little crush on him because he was a cutie and very gregarious and outgoing.  What a flattering voice mail.

Karl said he couldn't believe that picture was me and Karl bragged about how I workout almost every day and are diligent about what I eat (well sometimes except for that ice cream cone last night from DQ)!  So he wants to get together and go out one night.  I feel a trip to Flounders coming on!

We used to go out after football games and drink pitchers and pitchers of beer.  I babysat him one night in the back of our van while we were driving back from seville and held his shoulders while he puked his guts out the side of the van.  So funny!
