Almost there, can not wait!!!! 

I had my second to the last dietitian apt today, not to happy I gained 4 lbs back, BUT happy it is only 4 pounds, things are good! I start my life skills classes tomorrow night, kind of excited but worried, I don't know what to expect, however my dietitian is teaching tomorrow nights class so she said I will be fine, and that she will make sure she picks on me throughout the night hahaha ..

called the clinic yesterday sine I haven't talked to anyone there in a while to make sure things were going good, She called me back today and tried to give me another surgery date, I told her I already had mine she was like OH yea forgot we did that, everything is on track there. After my Dec 09th apt with the dietitian and the Preventive medicine doctor's clearance they will call my surgeon and let them know I am cleared and then I will have one more apt before my surgery. Seems like time is flying now but I cant wait, I am ready, scared out of my mind but ready for this new chapter in my life.

Fingers crossed everything else continues to go well. Now if I can get over this cold I have things would be good again,

54 days until Vegas

68 days until My life changing surgery 

So got a litte fustrated today... 

Back in September I was told I had to see the nutritionist every week for 12 weeks or I could not have the surgery. So I went ahead and set up appointments for every week up to today, sat down with the nutritionist today to finsh planning out my next 6 appointments, well we had a few dates we need to check out, so i went on the see the nurse practitioner for my last visit with her, when I got out the nutritionist advised me that i have been to see her to many times, UGH!!!!! I really only needed to see her a total of 4 times, so far I have gone 6 times. few to many times. Oh well, atleast I did learn some things I will need to know after the surgery.


Good news: I am cleared by the cardiologist, the pulmonologist, and the nurse practitioner. I have 2 more visits with the nutritionist now, and my clearance appointment Dec 9th.

Things are really coming together. Time is passing by, Jan 11th will be here quick  

2 Weeks with the dietitian down, 10 more weeks to go.

My clearance apportionment is December 9th. Went today to meet the psychiatrist and nurse practitioner. All went well have really good feelings about this change of life. I meet the Nurse Practitioner again 10/14. Also made my appointment today Pulmonologist for 10/1 for a breathing test and 10/7 to meet with the doctor. To my surprise today I got a phone call and the Surgery date is scheduled. Jan 11, 2010. They wanted to schedule the date Dec 21, 2009 HOWEVER for my birthday I got tickets to go to Vegas Dec 28th - Jan 6th so i asked if I can wait until after my vacation, which they had no problem with. Everything is going so well.

I cant be anymore excited then I am right now to know when my surgery is and to know it is only 108 days away (oh yes the countdown is on) I am still a bit scared, but I know everything will work out fine.

Today I added some recent pictures of me, I am very camera shy, so it is hard to find some with me in them. I sure hope that changes in a few months.
