145 - better stop soon - April 9 2009

Apr 08, 2009

I am wanting to slow down on my weight loss.  I am getting a tad worried that I might lose too much.  As it is now, my friend said I look anorexiac.  I don't think so but I don't want to get to that point.  Trying to tone up all this lose flesh.  It's so hard to tone at my age.

152 and holding ...

Mar 02, 2009

Weight is 152 (I go up and down by 2 lbs)

I am doing well ... into size 10 for sure and sometimes an 8.  I have so many sizes of clothes that I need to get rid of.  Feeling pretty good ... into exercising now.  Would suggest anyone try to incorporate exercise earlier than later into their lives.

I have a new man in my life and he's wonderful.  Still have not told him about my surgery but he knows I have lost alot of weight.  Perhaps I will not tell him unless he asks what my scars are for?  We keep pretty busy and I'm so happy he's there for me ... and we're having a great time.  It's like I'm 17 again (only smaller).

No regrets whatsoever.

Yippy - down 100 lbs

Dec 15, 2008

I checked the scale this morning - 168.  I  am down 100 lbs.  And you know what, it feels great.  I am so happy with my progress.

I have a dr's appointment next week, hopefully everything else is going well too.

ANd guess what else, I have a new man in my life.  Ross ... he's the best thing that could have happened to me.  He doesn't know about my WLS yet but he knows I've lost alot of weight.  He is soooooo special.  I'm not sure when I should tell him about the surgery ... I have a certain amount of shame about WLS but I need to speak about it ... one day soon.

Also, I have started buyinig clothes in size M and size 10-12.  I sure wish I could knew how to post a picture of me at a party I recently went to.  Maybe I will try and figure it out later.

later gater,  ~m

Current Weight - 170.

I'm cold all the time.  I just bought size 10 pants for a Christmas party and I've got flabby flabby arms.  But I've starting dating a very nice man and he thinks I have a nice butt - lol.  I just about rolled over laughing when he told me that.  ~m

Oct 7 - 29 Update

Oct 29, 2008

Weight - 188

Still a little stressed out ... not because of me ... but because of my obligations to my dad (who is now on dialysis three time per week).

Wishing I could eat better, manage my vitamins better, do more exercise, have more time ...but ... all else is going well.  Why should I complain.  Blood work is fine and I'm still loosing weight ... feeling a little stressed but ...

Sept 18 - Oct 2

Oct 02, 2008

Weight - 200 (slow but sure).  Onederland is just around the corner.

Going through a lot of stress right now.  My dad's health is more important than my own.  He is still in the hospital after heart bypass surgery.  On dialysis three times per week.

I have terribly bad breath these days and regular brushing, flossing and mouthwash don't seem to be doing anything.
