I checked out your website and read your journals. I am very encouraged by your story. My surgery is on Tuesday and I've been having ups and downs coming up to it. It's hard to find stories of those who weigh over 450 lbs (that's my weight now) and I was beginning to think that most of them haven't made it. I was curious as to your experience with the vent. Were you on it after surgery? My doctor says there is a chance I will be on it for a few days and I'm terrified of it. Congratulations and good luck on the last 88!!

It has been one year since my surgery, and I am down 256 lbs! I never imagined losing that much weight. My life has changed in so many ways. It is awesome! I feel incredible. I've said it many times before, but it's so true.....this surgery saved my life!
