WOO HOOO Melissa!! You are doing wonderful!! I am 10 weeks out and have lost -108 but I was (still am) a very large lady. Teaching is also my vocation, down the road from you in Knoxville. I am amazed each day at the amount of energy that I am regaining!! Keep up the good work. KimmieTN

Hello everyone! Well it's been 11wks, and I am feeling fantastic! I have lost a total of 94lbs! I am hoping to make it 100lbs by 3 months post-op. This surgery is absolutely the best thing I've ever done for myself.

Hello everyone! I am doing great. I went back to work yesterday 1-2-02 and did pretty well. I got tired after about five hours, but handled the rest of the day well. As of 12-30-01, I have lost a total of 51lbs and 22 1/2 inches (ankle, calf, thigh, hips, etc.....). So far, I am very glad that I had this surgery!

Hello everyone! The surgery went well. I am back home and recovering more and more everyday. It actually suprises me how well I am doing. Friday, 12-14-01, is my first follow up visit. I can't wait to see how much I have lost as well as get these staples out. Thanks to all for the prayers! God has been good to me!

Melissa! I am from East Tn too! I live in Jonesborough, well, actually Sulphur Springs. We are really closer to Gray than Jonesborough. We go to Bristol all the time. I hear that Dr. B is great. I will be thinking about you. :-) Best wishes for an uncomplicated surgery and a speedy recover.
