FINALLY updating...

Okay...hiding my head in shame! for not updating for so long! I keep up with so many on FB that I haven't been to OH much in the last couple of years. As for me I am 6 1/2 years out from RNY. I got back up to 167 or so in the past summer but am back down to 152. I never made it to MY personal goal of 130 but my lowest weight was 142. (pre preg at 10 months out from surgery) So for me I feel like a success story. Other than being irresponsible and letting my iron become so low I needed an infusion a month or so ago I have had very few "issues" . Alot of things have changed ...one being divorce. If asked whether I feel like it was due to surgery I could easily say no. Our problems were ongoing from beginning of marriage. I know some of you hear that divorce is common after surgery and maybe it is but usually not from the weight loss. Looking forward to attending the OH convention this weekend and seeing alot of "way post ops!) and meeting new ones. Please if you are new out or preop introduce yourself. Don't feel left out...cuz even for the ones of us that have been around awhile we can still face the "shyness" some have had for years! This will be the second OH fashion show I will be in and I am very excited! The first one was RIGHT after I found out I was pregnant with my WLS miracle baby...she just turned 5 on the 18th.(I know makes me feel old too!)
