just a quick update

Apr 11, 2011

So Vancouver was incredable! The most beautiful place iv ever been too. ALTHO the airplane seats as I already knew were small, I shouldnt say small but just big enough for me if i had another two inches on my belly there would be no way i could get the seatbelt done up. I had to suck in as it was to get it fassened and with people on the side of you where it does up let me tell ya it was kinda awkward :(. I made some stupid joke apologizing for how big my ass was that i needed the arm rest up and still ended up touching the guys leg most of the flight. Not the best experience but still well worth it, and next time I go see them I hope i wont even be affraid to sit in the middle :) My app. with the nurse/diet/and SW is just 24 days away..............................and it cant come soon enough!!!!! I called Krista to ask if there was any cancellations but I didnt get a call back so I dont want to bug her and ill just wait it out.
I have a sleep study app. on April 20th with the doctor for my cpap machine.....worst feeling in the world and can already see myself starting to cry in his office because of this stupid thing. If it doesnt go away with the weight loss I will be just devestated!
Untill next time..........

Vancouver on Friday

Mar 22, 2011

So I fly out on Saturday to Vancouver!!
So very excited to see my friends!!
So very scared about fitting in the airplane seats.....it sucks im so worried about that my mom and friends are telling me im crazy to worry about it but I am.
My friends and I went to a concert last weekend at Massey Hall in Toronto and I tell ya if it was a sitting concert I would have been screwed the seats are so small! My ass felt so frggin huge I was so glad it was a rock concert and we stood the whole time. Next time I go I cant wait to see the difference! My girlfriend that came with me knows about the surgery so I told her to remember that we were touching legs and to wait and see for the next time we go.
Till next time........

43 more days till my first set of appointments @ St. Joes in the Hammer <3 HURRY UP!!! lol

CPAP Machine...

Feb 27, 2011

So last night i went and had my sleep study with the cpap machine..........worst night ever! I f'in hate that thing! HATE IT! There is no way my apnea can continue after the weight loss....I cant handle that for the rest of my life, theres no friggin way! I had the smallest mask too and it was still so uncomfortable I could have just screamed. I have an appointment with the sleep study doc on April 20th @ 11am so ill let him know i truly dislike this stupid machine. Not that it will matter Iv been reading that if you have apnea you will have to have a certain amount of hours logged on it before you can go ahead with surgery which is total bullshit, i mean the surgery might cure it within months so i would think the faster the surgery the faster it may or may not disappear, but at least then you would know.

I also went last week for some more bloodwork, EKG and Abdominal ultrasound, they were all ok, I wasnt not aware however the the B1 shot wasnt covered by OHIP so I couldnt get that done, due to it being $70. So I will be going tomorrow for that i wonder if i have to fast for it, i would assume so eh....anyhow just an update on my progress.

**May 4th couldnt come fast enough for my St. Joes appointments**

Update

Jan 17, 2011

So I went for my sleep study on Jan 6th, what a friggin dilemma that was! I live in Simcoe and so I left early cause they were calling for snow. I left at 8pm and it normally takes about 45 min to get there. I used to work there so I know kinda how the drive is. Anyhow, I got half way there and all of a sudden my windshield wiper decided to break! I couldn't see a thing...I had a truck in front of me and one behind (which on a normal day scares the shit out of me) and it starts snowing....I can't see anything! I had to pull over and call my husband who was at home watching the kids. He ends up calling my mother in law to come save me. By this time its 8:45 and she has 15 min to get to Crappy Tire in Delhi and buy me some new wipers. I'm already going to be late so I called and no answer! I was crying mt eyes out cause I'v never had to change a wiper blade so I had no idea how ( yes im one of those girls that as always had a man do "the man" stuff)  So i'm having a minor breakdown on the side of the road. It ended up being 10:05 when she got there and hooked them up for me. I was such a reck I just wanted to go home and not tell anyone about this. Regardless of what I looked like and how late I was, I decided NO I'M GOING THIS IS IMPORTANT. I got there a little after 10 and the girl working there was SOOO super nice! She was concerned and so patient with me, let me get into a room and just sit and relax before hooking me up to the wires. I slept like a baby, she said I was her best patient and everything turned out fine. THANK GOODNESS. So glad that part is over and hopefully I wont ever have to go back altho if i do I have new wipers to go with :)
