Why I want(need) bariatric surgery...

I am a 28 year old female, mother of 2, wife and friend.
Long story short, I started gaining weight after my first child 7 years ago. When he was 2 his father and I seperated and I ate and ate and ate the guilt of breaking up my family away. Started working out and lost about 20 pounds, after that there was nothing! I tried and tried and tried and nothing! Fed up and being a single parent working 2 jobs to keep a roof over our heads I started eating out, something which really didnt appreal to me before. It beacme more and more and one day I looked my my son who then was 4 and thought "what is my problem, how dare I treat him like this".....we stopped eating out, I quit one of the jobs and started working out again. NOTHING happened. I had baby #2 Dec 08 so almost 2 years ago and I am about 100lbs overweight if not more. I dont leave my house unles I have to, there is a list too long to type out concerning the things I dont do. My favorite saying is "no thanks". I have limited my friends to about 3 and one is family. I feel like im failing as a mother because I cant take my children to swimming classes or coach a soccer team just some things I wouls love to do. Another is public speaking! I LOVE public speaking and could have such a better job doing something I love if only I had to nerve to go back to school, but who wants to go somewhere with that many people, not fitting in desks....
I feel like I could be doing soo much more and being SOMEONE I LOVE!
Thanks for taking the time to read this rant, I dont talk about this much so I love that I now have somewhere where maybe someone out there is feeling the same loss.
I go on wednesday Dec 15th to ask my doctor about a referral, he will have no problem with it, he believes I know what I need for myself and he is behind me 100% just need to get the paper work in and the forms filled! Wish me luck! I will be back on here after I know more about whats going on.
