Have a surgery date

Saw the surgeon again last Friday, May 21. I have scheduled Lap-Band surgery for June 30. Oh yeah, I also have high-blood pressure. It was 170/90 :(  They said it was high last Sept. but I didn't remember.

I go to my PCP tomorrow for blood work and an EKG. He is not the most supportive person regarding WLS so I hope it isn't a hassle. I will have him check my blood pressure again, too.

In a couple of weeks I go to see the nutritionist. Not looking forward to the 2 week liquid diet, but I suppose no one does.

I have some protein drink samples that I am testing. The Bariatric Adv. banana isn't too bad in the blender with some ice. The cinnamon calcium citrate is good. I am going to order a few more sample packs. Also tried BA unflavored calcium citrate crystals that you mix in water. They lied...there is a flavor and it wasn't so great. I added crystal light and it was fine though.
