3 days post-op

 I feel much better today. Finally. I slept almost the entire day yesterday.

Surgery went well. Doc was 4 hours behind though. Was scheduled at 11:00 but didn't go in until about 3:15. Luckily my friend brought games and her DVD player to the hospital so we were entertained. Went home that night at about 9:00.

Have had really bad dry mouth but popsicles have helped. They must be joking when they think I am going to get 3 protein drinks down each day. Last thing I have wanted to do the past couple of days is eat. I've had 2 each day but that was pushing it. 

Today seems like it will be a much better day. I haven't really had the gas pains that I read so much about. My belly has just been sore around the incisions.
