I also got the results from my Endoscopy. Turns out I DON'T have H-pylori which is great (and don't have to go back till NEXT YEAR), but I don't have clearance quite yet.  As far as the confusion with the clearance - when I spoke with the nurse today she said there was no indication on my charts that this procedure was to get clearance for the surgery.  WHAT??????  I told her that the sole reason for the EDG was to make sure I was ok for WLS clearance and that the specialist and I spoke about this during my consultation with him. At that time he even assured me he'd send the test results to Dr. Wynn and my PCP.    Geeeeez.  One hand doesn't know what the other is doing. So frustrating.
