Is this right?

Yesterday 5-19-15 was my second appointment with the nutritionist, the weigh in was good for me. I am down 4 pounds since my last visit on 4-28-15. I figured that after dropping so much in April that it would slow down. I however pretty much gave up starchy things. After my appointment though, I decided to add some back into my pre-surgery diet. The nutritionist said that she doesn't want me to give up those grains, she just wants me to eat smaller portions. I decided to add whole grain rice, oatmeal, whole grain pasta, and whole grain bagles back into my diet. I just don't want to eat them every day. Since I stopped eating starchy things back in February, whenever I eat stuff like this it makes my stomach upset. I don't know if it is because I stopped eating it and my body was detoxing or it's just all in my head. Whatever the reason, I dnt know. I'm going to try and keep these four items in my diet for a the next month. However; if I end up gaining weight or not losing any, I might cut it all out again even though the nutritionist said to eat it.
