I had my son take front and side profiles of me so I can post them on this site. I can’t get over how I look! The more I read and the more I learn the more I want this surgery. I am faced however, with not having insurance at this moment. I loose my BC/BS PPO at the end of this month as I have quit my job to start my own business. I am applying for insurance, but don’t know what I will have as of yet! I suffer from headaches nearly everyday and have had them for the last few weeks. I am scared and nervous and excited all at the same time.

224 pounds - I went to my first appointment today. I cried my eyes out during the entire video on weight Loss Surgery. I did not realize how much I needed this until I saw the video and read the pamphlets. My cousin just had the surgery on July 18 and a friend of mine had the surgery last November and is down 85 pounds already. My fiancé did not come to this meeting with me, but he will be attending with me on the 29th.
