RNY!! Surgery

I have had the lap band done 3 years ago and It has failed so the doctor said. So it has to be removed and I am going for the RNY! Just wondering how people feel about it and would really like to hear the good and bad to it. Please let me know what you like about it and what you dislike about it. I am a little nervous but then so excited, Then you hear the horror stories ugh..... please help me out thanks
