Three Weeks Till Surgery....

Three weeks from today, August 22, 2011, I will be having surgery. I'm having a revision from a VBG back in 1989 to an RNY.

I'm nervous about pain, I'm nervous about complications and the whole "buyers remorse" that so many people report they have had. But I'm SO ready to get rid of this fat prison of a body. I feel like I am in prison, can't do certain things, too tired, too self-conscious about my weight etc. to enjoy so much that life has to offer.

I pray that the Lord will bless me and guide my surgeons hands and that it is able to be done laparoscopically so that I don't have the horrendous pain that I suffered when I had the open VBG surgery.

I'll be glad to get this over with and start with my new life....
