I can't say enough about Dr. Cribbins and his staff. These guys are dedicated and responsive to all pre and post op concerns. They are extremely busy but go the extra mile to make you surgery safe and ensure your comfort level post op. After my surgery, Dr. Cribbins was great and stopped by each day to answer questions and check my well being. I am thankful that my first surgeon didn't work out because Dr. Cribbins was a God send. He is very trustworthy and knowledgeable and I'm glad I chose him and his team. His partner Dr. Hamn is also very mannerable, although he doesn't perform RNY. From sitting in their waiting room, it's unanimous that all of their patients love them both and their office team! Dr. Cribbins has a great bedside manner and is so down to earth. He doesn't possess the surgeon as God mentality. Cribbins is diligent about making sure you are up for this surgery. He doesn't rush you out like some surgeons do and allows you to ask all the questions you have. I trust him and that is the feeling that I was looking for in a surgeon, after all, this is my life. Office staff (Vincent) IS the greatest ever!

First off let me start by saying that I am still waiting to meet my surgeon, but Melinda athis office could use some customer service skills. She tends to be a little rude on phone.I am very dissapponted in the wait time there is for this surgry. When i saw a commercail on TV I thought wow now insurance is covering this. So I called my insurer and asked what i needed. They said just my pcp to refer me to someone. Then after comming here and talking to Dr.Cribbins office staff i find I have many journeys to take! Second time I called though to make an appointment I talked to Victor he was very nice and helpful and patient. But maybe I am just to excited to finally stat this process and dissappointed when Melinda gave me the next opening date and it was just my perception of they way it came across.

I enjoyed the informational meeting given by New You where Dr. Cibbins was the speaker. I had every question answered. Once you get past the fact that he appears to be only about 16 years old, he is very attentive and experienced. Dr. Cribbins was very good at explaining the risk and what amount of weight I should be expecting to lose. His office is very busy and I believe they are in the process of looking for a bigger office and more staff. They are absolutely swamped with calls and patients trying to get in. But, the good news is that I have heard of people waiting a year to get into some doctors. My first appointment was in January 2003 and my surgery is on 03/14/03. That is pretty speedy.

My first impression was that he was VERY young, however, after speaking with him, I became more comfortable. I did not have a long meeting with him, but what I did have made me feel confident that I choose the right surgeon.

The office staff was very nice and helpful.
We did not get into aftercare yet. This first consult was just to get our insurance information and to explain a little about the different kinds of surgery. I'm sure more will come once my insurance company approves the surgery.

I am a Post-Op now. I had my surgery with Dr. Cribbins on February 11th. My surgery went very well. I would reccomend Dr. Cribbins to anyone who wants WLS or any other kind of surgery. He is very caring and is there for you when you need him.His office staff is very polite and will help you too. Dr.Cribbins is highly reccomended!

My first impression of Doctor Cribbins is he is so young. He assured me and my husband he is older than he looks. He had a group of us at first and went over three types of surgery, then he met with us individually. I was so nervous I forgot to ask a lot of questions I had for him. Luckily I meet with him one last time before surgery to go over the pre admission tests. Mabe I will remember the questions then. I have read nothing but good about Dr. Cribbins, I just hate the long wait time. But since this surgery has become so popular, all the Doctors are really busy. I am really lucky I had my consult on November the 7th, 2002, got insurance approval on December 26th (Tricare Prime) had my Psyc Eval on Jan. 20th, 2003 and surgery is scheduled for March 5th, 2003. I understand there is not much after care but I have tons of information from this site and others.

My first impression was: "Man, he is YOUNG and Good Looking!"

My impression was only changed for the better-his mannerism match his looks and I felt very comfortable in his presence and with his knowledge.

His office staff leaves a lot to be desired. They could use some customer service skills and training-they can be a bite to swallow.

I would rate him a 8 or of 10.
