Dr. VEr Steeg is one of the best surgeons I know. He has operated on both my husband and my daughter
My first impression of Dr. Ver Steeg was good. He was very late to the appointment (2 hours) and I about rescheduled but I had an hour drive and figured I wanted WLS information so badly that I would wait it out. I'm glad I did. The staff is helpful and informative. I was denied once from the insurance company and they worked with the insurance and myself in order to get approved. Dr. Ver Steeg emphasizes a lot of the long term success depends on commitment to aftercare and has a great program including support groups, nutrition counseling, etc. So far, I rate him 4 stars. I have an appointment in 2 weeks...I will write more after...
