Luis Gorospe Bariatric Surgeon M.D.,F.A.C.S.

Dr. Gorospe was and is an awesome surgeon. I feel as if he gave me my life back and now I have a second chance. He is very caring and supportive to everyone. His staff is great. I wished everyone could have him as their surgeon. I have not one regret from having this surgery. He recently repaired my hernia and again he done a great job. I go to see him as a patient for the last time here in a few days and I plan on letting him know he is my hero. I am 5'7" and started at 305 and am now at goal and I weigh in at 158. Hurray. God Bless you Dr. Gorospe.

In the couple of times that I've met him, Dr. Gorospe has been really nice to me. He has been very helpful and has answered all the questions that I have about the Surgery.

Dr. Gorospe's Staff has been really kind also, and their always willing to answer any questions that I may have!

I've so far only met Dr. Gorospe twice, but both times he was very nice and made sure he answered all of my questions.

So far, Dr. Grospe's office staff has been wonderful to me and everyone else that I've talked to that will be having the Surgery. They are always helpful and willing to answer any questions that I have.

So far as far as being helpful with information for my surgery that I'll be having on February 4,2003...I would give Dr. Gorospe and his staff a 10 out of 10. They've all be really nice and helpful to me and others who will be having the Surgery.

DR. GOROSPE HAS A HEART FOR THE MORBID OBESITY GROUP OF PEOPLE OUT THERE IN THIS WORLD. I WAS VERY IMPRESSED WITH HIM AND HIS WHOLE OFFICE STAFF.MY IMPRESSION DID NOT CHANGE OVER THE LAST YEAR. DR. G IS VERY RUSHED FOR TIME. HIS HEART IS TOO BIG. DR.G IS VERY KNOWLEDGEABLE IN HIS FIELD OF SURGERY. IT HAS BEEN SOMETHING HE HAS TRIED TO PERFECT AND HE IS DOING A VERY FINE JOB OF IT. I HAD MY STOMACH STAPLED IN 1981 BY ANOTHER SURGEON AND I WAS LEFT OUT TO DRY. NOT A SUPPORT GROUP WAS AROUND AND AFTER THE SURGERY YOU WERE ON YOUR OWN. IT WAS A HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE. WITH THIS YOU GO TO SUPPORT GROUP MEETINGS AND YOU HAVE THE SUPPORT OF HIS ENTIRE OFFICE. HE LAYS OUT ALL OF THE RISKS OF SURGERY BEFORE YOU DECIDE WHETHER TO HAVE IT NOT. SOMETHINGS CAN NOT BE FORESEEN. THEY JUST HAPPEN JUST LIKE WITH ANY SURGERY. WE ARE AT GREATER RISK BECAUSE OF THE SHAPE OF OUR BODIES INSIDE AND OUT. I WOULD GIVE HIM 100% APPROVAL. BEDSIDE MANNER SURGICAL COMPETENCE ALL ARE VERY IMPORTANT AND I WAS IMPRESSED WITH BOTH.

Dr. G answered all of my questions and let me know of all the possible dangers and side effects of having the surgery. His office staff is very helpful and caring. It helped talking to Michelle one of his nurses who has had the surgery herself. My nurses at the hospital were great also. I have nothing but good things to say about my Doctor, his staff and the Hospital.

I have only seen Dr. G and his staf one time, but everyone is wonderful there.

he was a great doctor but my insurance denied the opperation so i have been able to have the gastric bipass yet

My impression of Dr. G was wonderful. Very nice, sincere and knowledgeable. The office staff seemed to be very friendly.

My husband and I were very impressed with his experience and skills. I have only attened the intial consultation, but the office staff seems to be great. We are traveling from the Dallas area to use Dr. Gorospe.
