MY FIRST IMPRESSION OF DR GOROSPE WAS OHMIGOSH WHAT A TINY LITTLE MAN, BUT I KNEW AFTER HE STARTED TALKING HE REALLY KNEW WHAT HE WAS DOING AND HE HAD A STRONG COMPASSION FOR PEOPLE THAT WAS OVERWEIGHT. THE OFFICE STAFF IS REALLY NICE AND ALWAYS FRIENDLY. THEY ARE ALWAYS VERY HELPFUL AND PROFESSIONAL. DR GOROSPE AND KIRK ARE THE 2 NICEST MEN I HAVE EVER MET AND THEY ARE VERY KNOWLEDGABLE ON WHAT THEY DO, THEY FOLLOWUP REGULARLY AND THEY NEVER FORGET A FACE!

Very impressed with both Dr. Gorsope and Dr. Kirk they compliment each other very well. Haven't had to have very much contact with the office staff yet, but they all seem very nice. Both Dr.'s made me very aware of the risks involved with the surgery beforehand. Dr. Kirk's bedside manners are outstanding, he was fantastic before surgery in explaining the process that was about to happen, my wife and
in-law's were amused and comforted by his presence.

Dr. Grosepe and his office are great. They explained everything to me as to what would happen, how long insurance benefits would take and was just all around wonderful. I would recommend him to anyone looking for a Doctor.

My first impression of Dr Gorospe was that he was a kind hearted man and that he really cares about his patients. He is always there to answer questions and he plays a big part in your support. He has a support group that meets every month and he is at every meeting. He has dedicated his practice to this surgery alone and he does a very good job meeting everyone's needs. He says he loves seeing how much he changes his patients lives forever.

He explained all the pros and cons of the surgery very well. He makes sure you know exactly what to look forward to and his nurse staff at his office is always helpful too. Most of them have had the surgery themselves. He is very knowledgable and has a lot of experience with this surgery as well as other weight loss surgeries.

I am very confident that he will take very good care of me.

He's a very knowledgable. He's been doing this surgery for years and he's dedicated his practice to bariatric surgery.
His office staff is really nice. There are a few former patients that say he and his staff really care about the newer patients. I'm hoping that this is true. So far everyone has been super nice and extremely helpful.

First impression was great. Dr G is very informative,funny and caring. He and his staff obviously care about their patients. They make sure you are very informed every step of the way. We know what to expect good or bad and what to do in different situations that may arise. They continue their caring help with aftercare and support groups.

DR.GOROSPE IS AWSOME!!! HE CARES SOOOO MUCH FOR ALL OF HIS PATIENTS! THE OFFICE STAFF IS VERY HELPFUL. THEY WILL GO THE EXTRA MILE FOR YOU.YOU WILL HAVE ALL OF THE INFORMATION NEEDED TO MAKE THIS A SUCCESSFUL JOURNEY.

Dr. Gorospe is Great. I have only gratitude for him. He will answer any and all questions, and he is very honest, great bedside manner and good sense of humor. His staff is wonderful, supportive, and many are post-op themselves.

Dr. Grosepe was very professional. He knew what he was talking about. Everything he explained about the procedure made perfect sense. His office was really nice the first day, but since then I feel like they just don't have time to answer questions like I expected. I didn't find anything about Dr. Grosepe that I didn't like. I feel very comfortable with his years of performing the procedure. I can't really rate his surgical competence and bedside maner yet because I haven't seen it. But Jan 3 at 7 :00am I will.

Beware you have to see many other doctors to make sure you are ok to have surg. this takes approximately 1 month. If you do not live in Tulsa plan on doing a lot of driving. I have had to make 6 trips to Tulsa for various reasons related to pre-op. Also South Crest is not in my insurance network, and they are billing my insurance 39,900. I was shocked at the ammount the hospital charges...

Went for my 4 1/2 hour surgeon visit today 4/23/04. I thought Dr. Gorospe was very nice and extremely knowledgeable about the surgery. I am very excited about his office sending off my request for this surgery to Aetna HMO. His office staff seemed to be very efficient as well. He does primarily all laparoscopic technique and said he has performed around 800 bariatric surgeries. Feel very comfortable with my decision to have this procedure after my office visit today.
