Dr Tersigni came highly recommended as #1 in the state of Oregon. He was willing to help get the process started. Has great office staff. He is extremely busy and I didn't see much of him in the hospital and haven't spoken or been examined by him since surgery 6 weeks ago. Nurse had same surgery 5 yrs ago and is very helpful.
Dr. Tersigni has come to educational support group meetings and has been wonderful. He really cares about his patients. Dr. T even follows his own eating-habit suggestions, so he can see what his patients go through. He is very shy, but wants to help people improve their lives and live healthier, longer, happier lives. With his help, we are doing just that. Thanks Dr. T.

my first impression of him was great knew just what to say and answer all my questions.. and what he didn't cover his helper robin is wonderful her having had it done was so much help... The staff is great and gets you to who you need or tries to help.. One thing about him is if you dont ask the questions he wont cover them be forward and up front with him.. He requires you to take an eductional class to go over all the things you will be able to eat in the first 4 weeks and try them all and stress the importants of following all the steps... They are always concerned with your health first..

Dr. Tersigni is great!! I met with him yesterday and above all he is completely professional. I felt like I knew my life was in the right hands when I was talking with him. He's personable and made me feel at ease. His nurse Robin is great as well, she is 5 years post op and looks fabulous. The staff was curteous and knowledgeable.
The first thing I noticed when I stepped up to the window was a print of a surgeon praying. It was very moving and made me feel immediately at ease. Sometimes, it's the little things!!!

Dr. Tersigni is a very quite, reserved man. He is the kind of doctor that is easy to talk to. His office staff is impecable.Robin, his nurse, is a very good source of help, because she herself, has gone through the surgery. Dr. Tersigni insists that all his patients attend the support groups at the clinic, that meets two times a month. Overall I would rate Dr. Tersigni very high for his surgical skills, office staff, and excellent aftercare.

Dr. Tersigni is a quite man. He doesnt spare any extra words not to say that he's not friendly he's just all business. He leaves the feel good feeling to his Staff Like Robin and the other Girls in the office.
For me his personality was ok because I really wasnt looking for the car saleman type to sell me on Why I needed surgery.
I was VERY impressed with the Large Print on his Office area of a man bowing his head in prayer before surgery. I have respect any person who is willing to stand up and say "Hey, I still believe in the power of prayer " ! This was very comforting to me.
He is very strict with his after care requirements. All patients are on Protein drinks and no solids for 30 days.
I would recommend him, I believe he has great competence in what he does.

Dr. Tersigni is a wonderful doctor. He believes in his patients and feels that they would not be coming to see him if surgery wasn't their last resort. He has the kindest blue eyes, that tell you he understands, although he is 6'4 and weighs around 200 or less. He listens to you and doesn't give you the impression he is thinking you are disgusting or repulsive because of your weight. Dr. T and his staff are so willing to work with you, they even give you their cell phone numbers so you can call them if you need something. His staff was just as accomadating. His P.A. was a little stoic at first, but I finally got him to smile and it made me feel better. Robin his right-hand gal has been where we have and are and is so knowledgable. She had surgery a few years back. The office gals are just as wonderful. The experience I had with Doctor Tersigni and his staff we wonderful, they continue to make me feel # 1. I knew the Dr. was an outstanding surgeon before going in for my first visit. My husband was a Supervisor paramedic for 11 years and you know these things. He is known locally and out of state for his skilled hands as a surgeon, and I feel priveledged to of had him available to me. I would rate hisself and his office staff a 10 ( being the best ) as long as Scott his P.A. keeps smiling.

Down to business, trustworthy His team is the greatest and I feel lucky to have them in our little town of Coos Bay, Oregon. His office staff is easy to work with and will get you what you need. His PA, Scott is sweet and caring. Nurse Robin, well she has gone thru this surgery as has most of her family. She is so giving and understanding....she even gives out her cell number! Dr. T. was skilled sure enough down to business! I felt safe in their care...
I feel that their level of attention increased when I had the surgery. Pre-op was kind of obligatory. But that has changed and they have satisfied my needs.

Dr. Tersigni was very knowledgeble and helpful. His office staff is excellent. They are all very friendly and helpful.
They are extremely professional and beforecare and aftercare is closely monitored. Overall, I would rate the office and physician as excellent. Dr. Tersigni's surgical competence is probably better than his bedside manner.

Dr. Tersigni was very nice and easy to talk to. My husband went with me to my initial consultation and he really tried to keep him involved in the conversation. The office staff was great. I actually dealt with Dr. Tersigni and three of his staff on my initial visit. They were all very caring and honest. Everyone focused on making sure that you understood the information provided. Dr. Tersigni really focused on what the office offers as far as aftercare and the importance of my own dedication and care after WLS. There is a structured aftercare program. You are required to attend follow-up appointments and they really enocourage going to support meetings.
Dr. Tersigni was very up front and honest about all of the risks and ensured that I fully understood. Overall, I would give him a 10!
