He has a very nice demeanor about himself.
I discovered he actually related to me as a person.
Quite professional
When I first met him he thought I was a him instead of a her that's what the weight did for me.
If you want to settle for less than go for it but if you want one of the best go for him.
Sure does.
Sure did.
They know their way around the OR room
Both, you'll get no disputes from me on this question

Dr. Ehrlich has the uncanny ability to see beyond your ourside appearance into your soul. I have carried "secrets" of my life for over forty years, things that not even my oldest childhood friend knows, yet he was able to get me to open up to him.
Dr. Ehrlich interest is not just in the surgery aspect of my life, he has been supportive in helping seek seek other treatment that will help me become the "total package" as a person. The greatest problem I have right now is chewing my food because I have dentures and they do not fit properly, so the food goes down in chuncks. I am afraid to eat anything that is not soft food and I am not able to get enough protein in my system because of that, Dr. Ehrlich sent me to his dentist to find how to fix this, his dentist advised that due to my small palate I would need transplants to help hold the dentures in place. Dr. Ehrclich, familiar with my situations has been very supportive in helping me find a place to get the work done properly and is helping me to explore avenues to pay for it. That is what I mean about caring for the "total package"
The office is well run, his staff is very pleasant and even calling after hours, or if he's away from the office, someone will track him down and let him know if you are having a problem. Not only will you get a follow up call from his staff to leyt you know he's been contacted, you can expect a call from Dr. Ehrlich within minutes.
I can't say enough good things about Dr. Ehrlich, the staff, the after care program and the support system in place to follow up on your progress.
I read quite a bit on the surgery prior to having it done, however i found a wealth of information in his office and prior to surgery, you're given a 'graded test' to see how much you know about the risk factors and what you don't know, is explained in greater details, I felt very confident going in ..... and thankful that I was prepared so thoroughly on what to expect!
The one thing that I would encourage to have covered during pre-surgical sessions is how extremely tired one can feel after surgery. I always considered myself a bounce-back type of person, after surgery I felt as weak as a baby for about 30 days, then I bounced back. Speaking to post op patients, I found this was a very common problem.
I have heard some horror stories about doctors who have very little interactions with their patients, thankfully my Doctor is there 100%.

I am very happy I have had gastric by pass surgery and that I found the Fairfield County Bariatrics. It has been three months and I have already lost over 70 lbs. and feel great.
The seminar I attended was very informative and clear as to all aspects of the types of surgery, the pros, cons, risks, procedures to follow and ability to meet with newcomers and veterans of surgery.
Tim and his staff are very competent and caring. All of the insurance procedures were handled by his staff and the physicians I was referred to for pre-op appointments were easily contacted, informative and competent. And I absolutely love Danielle, his PA, and the rest of his staff. They make it all so easy!
As a surgeon, Tim did a phenomenal job. No problems and I was up and walking that same day without any pain or discomfort and not on any medications at all. All of the doctors in this practice were very attentive post-op and they stress aftercare. I am following Tim's advice in medical post op care and am attending the seminars set up by his practice. I am pleased with my progress with both my weight loss and my new eating practices. I gladly recommend FFCB to anyone who asks, but always remind all that it is a personal decision that must be made with care.

Dr. Ehrlich has a very warm and empathetic personality. He exudes energy and optomism - and that's contagious! Unlike some surgeons who are primarily interested in the surgery phase, he is very attentive and concerned from pre-op through post-op stages. I chose him because of his connection with Floch Surgical Associates - and the Floch's are known for their surgical expertise as well as their warm and caring personalities. He fits right in! The office staff is great, expediting the paperwork and getting my insurance approvals very quickly. The aftercare is essential - and he makes sure that I come in regularly to see him and keeps encouraging me to take advantage of the support groups he sponsors. I felt completely prepared by him in every way for the surgery. He managed my expectations very well - which is especially important for lap band patients. I have to say he excels at both surgical competence (I weighed 390 at the time of surgery, and had a great recuperation in spite of my size!) and his bedside manner is the absolute best anyone could wish for. As I said, his energy, optomism and empathy makes your see him not just as a doctor - but your coach and cheerleader. And by the way, this is the first doctor's office in all these years who went to the trouble and expense (and had the sensitivity) to buy extra large, comfortable chairs specifically designed to hold patients who weigh up to 700 pounds! I have been in eating disorder clinics with chairs that someone over 300 pounds could not fit into - so I really appreciate his kindness and sensitivity to his patients.

My first impression of Dr.Ehrlich was a good one. He was so nice and he took his time with explaining everything and the apppointment lasted almost 2 hours, which is unusal now-a-days. My impression never changed of Dr.Ehrlich, although he seemed awfully busy often, he was always kind and courteous and ready to answer any questions or sentiments I was having toward my surgery. The staff at Fairfield County Bariatrics are wonderful. They kick you in the butt when you need a boost and are there for you when you need someone to listen to you, all in all, I was very pleased. Everythign regarding the surgery was explained to me and going into it, I totally understand everything that I need to know which is settling and unsettling at the same time. But I know/hope this is for the best, in the end, so I am prepared.

Dr. Ehrlich is a very warm and kind person. I liked him right away and was even more impressed that he was going to start doing the surgury's at St Vincents Medical Center in Brigdeport. i knew he did them at Norwalk Hospital but I live in Trumbull so this was a perfect match. I think I was the second surgury at St. Vincents.
His staff is friendly and well experienced in Bariatric surgury. They answered all of my questions.
I attend a group session for post -op once a month for support. I think this is very important to share and learn from others. Dr. Ehrlich has encouraged this support group through his offices.
I had no complications at all with or after surgury. I have never experience any type of dumping syndrom or nausia, or vomiting at all. Just lucky I quess. i am able to eat anything, but only a small amount, and this is after 6 months.

I have been to three different doctors before I found Dr. Ehrlich. I was extremely frustrated about this entire decision until I met him. He seemed so confident and reassuring. I loved that. I had already had all my pre-screening tests done, so he made sure I was set up for surgery right away. His staff is always pleasant and down to earth. I had a minor complication after surgery and Dr. Ehrlich came to my rescue right away. I was scared half to death when he said he'd have to go back in to make sure everything was alright...but he was so positive and convinced me that everything was going to be alright--and I truly believed him. He met me in the OR within an hour after we talked and Dr. Flock had joined him. I felt so much more at ease when I realized that they were on top of it. I have a whole new respect for them and I'd recommend him to anyone considering the surgery. My office visits are short and sweet. I am so happy that I made the best decision in my life and chose one of the best surgeons to do it!! My only regret is that he's married!! lol.

When I first met Dr. Ehrlich it was at one of his seminars in Milford and I thought he seems to know alot about what he does and genuinely cares about the people that he is trying to help. When I had my first appointment with him, he was very attentive to my needs and very helpful in to reach my decision as to what type of surgery to have as I was split between the Lap-band and the RxY. I think I have chosen wisely with Dr. Ehrlich. His office staff was very nice.
