The hospital was clean and the rooms were attractive. The food was wonderful according to my family...everyone there was so nice and helpful.

The Bariatric surgery wing of Baptist hospital was very quiet and when I needed a nurse all i had to do was call the phone they carried around with them at all times.

The Bariatric Center prepared me for all the phases that I would be going through... I knew what to expect when I was admitted through my discharge and my recovery. There were no surprises. I'm very pleased with the level of education and care.

I was very impressed with Baptist. The area surrounding the hospital is not so great but once you get over that, it's OK. I'm just curious to know who's idea it is to give morphine shots in the leg! It hurts!

Baptist was a wonderful hospital. My stay at there was the most freindly staff I have even meet. They was just wonderful. I will give everyone there A+++.

Some of the other patients expressed concerns that the staff was not with them more. However, that is one of the things we are told up front is to bring someone to stay with you. That's why they give us private rooms. I just can't stress this enough. The nurses can not bring you ice chips, cover you up, move your pillow, help you to the bathroom, etc. and still monitor the other patients and keep up with everyone's medications.

The staff and facility was great. The days were a little more hectic, and it took longer to get a response from Nurses. The nights were great. I was only there 2 days, but I recommend highly.

If I ever had to be hospitalized again, this would be the hospital I'd go to. It is extremely sensitive to bariatric patients and their needs.
